Thread: Reba?

    Default Reba?

For some of you who went to the Reba show here in LA recently and how all the females stars of country showed up to pay tribute to her.

You may also recall how very expensive those tickets were.. $300.00 +

We held off on that show for that reason which proved to be a good thing because 30 days later they announced the show would be on CMT "FOR FREE"

Now that P.O.'D allot of people when that happened as those who went to the show realized they paid for the production cost for CMT and so the rest of the world could see it for yes, FREE.

So the question arises again... It is 200.00 per ticket plus hotel/RV or tent fee/ plus food, plus alcohol (and we know that will be as much as the tickets lol)
not to mention gassssss ohh and yah gotta eat, we all love to eat!!!
So fair enough to say this will be about 6 to 8 hundred per person for three days. Not to mention it is realllllly windy in that area at times.

If this shows on CMT or GAC for FREE I might be really P.O.'D cause I have a 72" movie screen and a projector at my place I could have one hell of a BBQ for that price lol not to mention having all my friends over to watch.

    Any thoughts on that one?

All I can say is that even if it is brodcasted at a later date (which I doubt) nothing is better than seeing/hearing/smelling all of this in person!!!!

I agree with the high prices. Especially with the camping...$50 per person plus $50 per rig/tent argh . We only are going cuz we won the tickets.

I think they are having problems selling if you ask me. I posted on another post that I see thousands of tickets being given away at bars, radio stations, Boot Barn etc...they are getting desperate for people to attend to event. I see the cost of the food/beer etc being high to adjust the loss in ticket sales. BYOB AND BYOF!!!!!!

I would think, $100 for tickets would of been more fair, and not the $50 per person to camp, or at least not the RV fee. That to me is double dipping! Maybe next year, if they have this event again, the prices will be more favorable.

Sorry, my bad. I assumed if I had to pay for my RV then they had to pay for tent space. But I guess to have my luxury shower, bed, tv, microwave, coffee, etc etc...make the $50 sound better.

NOTHING compares to experiencing this event in person. I feel the price is okay, not great of course....but well worth it. The talent that will be performing is amazing! I have no regrets. I highly doubt that this will be televised. Plus, the price might scare off the riff raff!

I have to add my two cents worth here. If you were to go to see any of the major performers individually the cost for each would be around $100 per show. Some of the performers at different venues cost way more than $100 per ticket. So even if you just go to see the main stage performers it's a fairly good deal. Not to mention all the other stage performers. Drinks and food at ANY concert, amusement park, sporting event, etc. are always way over priced. But we all go to these places and buy food and drinks.

And I have to agree, there's absolutely NOTHING like seeing these performers LIVE. Even if it were broadcast on TV it's not the same by any stretch of the imagination. They couldn't possibly capture the feeling of being there or show even a fraction of the performances.
