I just wanna know why people who are so annoyed with whatever it is wanna post their annoyance for the rest of us to read. I get that it's a message board and that part of what makes it great are people's opinions but seriously are u looking for?? Us to agree with u or tell u that it will all be ok?? caligurl...I don't want to get in an online pissing match with you, or anybody else for that matter....but the FACT is the promoters of this shindig outright LIED on several occasions!! Some of those lies led many people to drop LARGE amounts of money because they expect that somebody who is supposed to be a professional concert promoter would have the business sense to NOT LIE!! I understand some things are out of their control, shit happens, etc....but that doesn't change that fact that they have conducted their business in a less than stellar way....to stand behind the "line up subject to change without notice" is a chicken shit excuse! If something happens that is beyond your control, you don't quietly change things with no explanation....You communicate with your customers, you give them at least empty platitudes and 99 times out of 100, they are going to understand...yes they may still be upset, but they will understand.....As I've said from the beginning of my little piss fit, that's what bugs me more than anything.....They damn sure didn't have any problem announcing who they THOUGHT MIGHT, MAYBE, SORTA, COULD, ALMOST BE THERE, but when those apparent pipe dreams didn't pan out, oh well, we got your money, get bent.....Now, with all that said, I'm still going, because several of my friends are going as well (and they're a little peeved with the way things have been handled as well), and we decided that the money was already spent so may as well make the best of it....I've never been to a "festival" but quite frankly, I can camp out in the desert 20 minutes from my house and not spend an assload of money doing it, the MUSIC is the main draw for me.....As to the other aspects, I'll make that judgement when I see them....You can probably gather that I'm not much of a "people person" (and I'm fine with that btw), so the partying with strangers thing doesn't hold much water with me either.....I'm sorry that you or others get angry that we're running down your precious little Stagecoach, but the truth is, I'm not running it down, I'm running down the poor business attitude that seems to permeate it.....

like you said Charlie, you've never been before so why don't you give it a chance before you decide it's going to be a shitty waste of money. no one here is happy about the line up changes BUT we all understand shit happens. didn't you say you understand too? i guess you should make sure to read the fine print "line up subject to change without notice" is policy for most concerts/festivals with a line up this huge. there are too many artists to guarantee that there will be NOT ONE change in the line up. all in all i hope you DO find stagecoach enjoyable.who knows ---you may ACTUALLY have a good time!

I'm sorry but it's a FESTIVAL, not an individual person's concert. THAT would be more intimate and you are guaranteed who you are seeing. And if you're not a people person, why would you go anywhere near a festival with a hundred thousand people???
