My 74 Year old Grandma saw Phil last year and she swears it is the best country act she has ever seen. She still rocks it to new artists as well, so she has plenty of reference. She went with, what she said were "a bunch of young gals" who I guess were going nuts for him. The thing about Phil that not many people know is that he has written 42 number one songs for OTHER people! "I'm all, i'm all, i'm all right...I guess I'm doin' all right..." He even lays down the tracks (beats) and plays over 10 instruments.

Not missing Phil, for sure!

I'm sooo excited to see him again. Saw him a couple years back at the Bash and he just really gets into it and keeps you sooo entertained. But he didnt have sell me I was already a huge Phil Fan!!

Question for those of you who have gone to Stagecoach before...how accurate are the scheduled times? If they say someone is going on at 6:00, is it usually pretty close to that set time? Or do they run late? I'm just curious because unfortunately we have to leave a bit early on Sunday (no later than 7pm) but I really really want to stay and see Jason Aldean!

Okay, dood. No need to be rude. I was just adding info about an artist for people to learn about him and check his set out if they want.

And, sorry, you're not much into the western culture if you're not aware that there are cowboy poets and storytellers in the world. It's pretty cool that this festival has a wide range of artists of all kinds for people to experience.

I mean come on, this is California, not the midwest. So exposure to new kinds of artistry, like cowboy poets, is unique for people living in So Cal.

Well said. The whole point of a festival is to see acts OTHER THAN the tried and true. I, for one, would like to see something in addition to the "pop forty" county acts.
