I have to say they're doing something right. They are up for song & group of the year @ the Americana Music Assoc. Awards on Sept. 9th in Nashville!!

Just spent an amazing 5 days in Nashville for the Americanafest.! Went to the awards show @ The Ryman .......... The Avett Brothers won "Best Duo/Group of the Year"!!!!!
Miss B ~ I know you'll be excited to hear that!
(They also won in 2007)

Again ~ these guys were amazing!! They played their hearts out! The crowd were on their feet the entire show! Was great seeing them at a show where the audience was there for them! (compared to the Keith Urban show)

I'd never heard of them and didn't know anything about them until last year when they opened for Keith Urban at the UCLA Tennis Center. I really liked them and they were excellent live.
