BBQ Voting

I would like to say When we went over to get are tickets to do the BBQ voting they had no problem selling us the tickets, but they forget to tell us the voting was over, that was very upsetting. This was because we wanted to vote for PaPa's smokehouse. We sampled four places and this was the best. WE started at 2:45 p.m. which unkown to us was the ending time. I believe they should of told us, the voting was over, looks like to me this was another way to get my $30 bucks!

Saturday I paid $10.00 for 4 taste tickets (with no voting)
Sunday I paid $10.00 for 4 taste tickets (with voting)

Voting or not...It's still the best deal for food at Stagecoach.

I agree with you, they should have told you all when the voting was over and given out an information sheet on the process.
We as the vendor (my parent's own Papa's Smokehouse) were not given clear directions either.
We are happy you loved our food enough to vote.
We did come in 9th for best booth, 9th for best team show and 9th for our Briskett that was turned in for competition on Sunday...not too bad considering we were competing against 53 teams and were not in the main circle of the BBQ competition since we were vending!!!
We had a fabulous time...we will see you next year.

I'm finishing my articel.I got over for a few photos of the winners getting trophy's but I had such bad time getting out of my area with fire lanes closed it was hard to get back and forth to shoot...

Yeah I went to the BBQ Saturday and Sunday but only bought tickets on Saturday . . . I was kinda upset that u only got to vote if u bought tickets on Sunday . . . I loved the BBQ at the Pink Booth - When pigs fly -- ahhh their Briskett was soooo good . . . does anyone know where we can see the results??

Amen sista! WE heart Papa's Smokehouse in the dez! They catered our clubs meal at the Save Johnson Valley Ride weekend.... Not only do they weather the storm at the races in the dez, but they also support the cause!
