While the Kid was obnoxiously entertaining, he really did not belong at stagecoach. I think the taylor made crap is exactly that CRAP! how does the histroy of hip hop, rap and supposedly redneck rock fit into country music festival. Would I go see him again? Probably, but I still think it was a mistake to have him at the festival.
    Here is why.
County music spans generations. It is generaly with the exception of a few artists a very family oriented form of entertainment. I love to see all ages coming out to enjoy themselves. I literally sat behind two women mother and daughter who were I'm guessing ages late 50's and late 70's. How great is that and I'm here to tell you that grandma was rocking out. I loved it. She cringed during Kid rock. She said her heart was breaking "It is a shame vulgarity is so easily excepted", they left before Kenny hit the stage and they were in front of me the night before to the very last strum of Paisly's guitar.
I feel like he is self indulgent and irrespoinsible not to mention unprofessional. I'm sure I'm not the only person who noticed that he went over into Kenny's time slot and I can almost guarentee that was half of the problem with Kenny's show. He seemed pissed off!
So, yes while entertaining, it was an unfortunate blunder on the mainstage and I believe the people who put on this show should consider just how much money they get from families and no I was not with my family. Thank God!!!!

    Are you pregnant?

And I have to say tht Kid Rock was one of the BEST performers all weekend. He got the crowd amped up like no other, and our whole group was off their feet rockin it.
No matter what they say I've done, I ain't never had too much fun!

I did feel so bad for the ones with small kids.
Yet as I said he was talented...
there were plenty of other places to go for that whole entire miserable hour if you didn't want your kids to hear kid rock.

don't get me wrong, i *loved* having kids at the event but this is an *ALL* ages event, not gymboree!

Just got a glance of recent posts...Whoever has the flu just wondering if you are feeling better? Indio High School has just been closed for a probable case of the Swine Flu. The initial testing is positive and they are testing 22 other people. I'm sure that you don't have it but just kind of made me nervous knowing we were in Indio with like 60,000 people.
