2010 Entertainment in El Dorado 1

Doesn't anyone but me think that we need entertainment for the first night (Thursday) in El Dorado 1? I am thinking about putting together an amatuer (not Karaoke). Entertainment for fun in 2010. Thoughts?

They did have a band at the Polo Bar. Wasn't that Karaoke? I know it was for 2008, we didn't stay (sorry, karaoke just rubs me wrong.) I thought it was also this year, or that band sucked.

I wanted to hear/see that band on the roof of the RV, missed it every time. I am thinking they wouldn't do anything more than what they do at the Polo bar since that is income to them with the liquor sales in there. But good idea.

How do you propose to do this? Are you in a Band? Are you bringing the equipment? Where do you propose to set this up in ED 1? Do you have to get permission from Stagecoach or GV? Who are you? (not ment to be a burn) I would not send a demo of my daughter to a stranger on the net... You are a new member??? You may PM me if you would like to answer these and more questions.

I dont think that the band on the roof of the RV got permission. They just played on their own.

There were a few camps with Karaoke going on and people going by and joining in. So I think that is more of what prion is offering as an idea. But perhaps they also did not realize there is already entertainment, via a band in EDI at the Polo Bar.

this could be pretty good exposure for a band. maybe friday night might be more tho cause you know most ppl get there friday night.

The Polo Bar was a joke. They needed to promote it. They should have passed out coupons and had better entertainment!
But I must say Thursday & Friday nites are soooooooooo much fun.
Next year I'm hanging at "Banana Hammocks and Coconuts" in EL Dor 1

problem with kfrog dance, it was all disco...rap etc..no country. We stopped by, but hung with some friends at their rv's. I agree polo bar sucked, rather drink my beers than pay an arm and leg for one. dance floor in the corner and had to fight to even see someone on it. It was better the years before.

Hey I am in the band that played in Eldorado 1 Friday night last year. We will be b ack this year. We tried to set up thursday night also but the Security wouldn't let us. We did not get Permision, Just did it.
