KC I agree with a lot of what you are saying. I missed the show, but watched it back on videos. I liked Adam's version...not familiar to many, but I really liked it. Randy mention it was a version most wouldn't know and liked it. Just too bad that most wouldn't know it. But he did an awesome job! Doug had to re-watch and then he also changed his mind. He hit the notes and pulled it off. Not your Disneyland, pop, everyday singer, so you have to listen to him and appreciate what he does different.

Now...Brad...did you have your earpiece working...he sounded strange...like he couldn't hit some notes. I wasn't familiar with the song...loved the lyrics and what happy, happy that he didn't sing about bugs

I agree, the oil rig dude should of gone. I like him, like his singer, but he needs to refine it. I knew they wouldn't save Alexis, they only have one save and they know they need to save that for later in the comp. She sang her last song horrible...not sure if she was crying...or what...but wow I felt bad for her.

Oh, and WTF...do a Randy Travis song at least for last nights show as a group song.

Well I love Adam but his version of the song didn't do it for me. It was a little odd. He wasn't doing the Johnny Cash version--it was Jeff Buckley's. So I don't think he was trying to insult Johnny Cash...just trying to do a version that more suited his style.

Carrie and Randy did an AWESOME job....in fact I just downloaded the song from Itunes.

I was a little disappointed that Alexis went home...I thought she had potential. But I thought she had a bit of an attitude, like I know I'm good so why am I here in the bottom. Maybe that's why she was in the bottom--people didn't like her personality and the oil rig dude is just so lovable.

I liked that oil rig dude.. he may not last but he is humble. We now have the top ten for the summer tour. I agree about Alexis' attitude.. seemed a bit "uppity". Wonder what the theme will be next week.

I know!!! I read that whole "mole" theory too about the top 4. Well, last night changed that with Alexis gone. hmmmm.. I have wondered if the show was pre determined, but.. really?
btw.. Carrie and Randy were wonderful... he is such an icon in the country music biz, she's authentic, true to her roots (what happened to kelly pickler?), and I wish we could have had him do one of his classics. the contestants really needed to see that style of country music.

Love Adam...I thought he looked like Kurt Russell playing Elvis--which I thought was hot back then, Adam is ...well, he doesn't even need a belt buckle...like Danny (Robert Downey Jr.) too, that young girl is incredible...Lil R doesn't do anything for me...I think there are several who can leave & I'd never miss em...

Adam is amazing!! Can't believe he totally changed his look--suited him well and I loved his interpretation. The first guy Matt is growing on me and the last girl was amazing. Can't believe she was in the bottom 3 last week. Danny is always fun (and totally can see the Robert Downey Jr thing!!)!

ok so i totally jumped on the Adam band wagon with his performance last night! LOVED IT. Also Allison..shes been my fav since the beginning ! Love Danny too. Its the first time ive remembered Matts performance, like it. i think Kris is absolutely adorable...love the crooked smile :P oh lil rounds was good..she has a great voice but i find her boring...and then Megan..gorgeous girl...but seriously....its time to go home!

i missed it last night but also cant believe Megan wasnt in the bottom 3...shes that websites "vote for the worst" choice and believe it or not...theres lots of people that vote just to sabotage the show because of that website which is just plain dumb! Plus shes good looking. with those two things i think shell be around longer and someone good (like Matt) well end up going home. blah!
