Looks like tomorrow night is the duet for Carry & Randy.

I can't stand watching Adam perform...especially the performance from last night. Blehck! Hated it. (I know some of you like him so I'm going to hide from those people now. lol)

I fell asleep early, so I'll have to play the last half hour back from my DVR tonight before someone is voted off the island.

Adam was awful awful awful.....What a bad night for him. It was not a tribute to the great Johnny Cash.
Lil rounds did an ok job, she looked nice. The others? well... ho hum. I am surprised none of them performed any Randy Travis music.

yes, he sure was. Just reminded me how much I do like his music. He was very kind to all the performers and giving them helpful suggestions. I laughed when Randy Travis commented on Adam's nail polish!!! Adam has a huge fan base. He will do well. But like the judges questioned the song choices of the other contestants, I just wish he didn't do that wierd version of a good song. Could it be that the contestants are not familiar with Randy Travis' music?

Okay, country is my genre, but, I'm also an old rocker chick...sooooo, man I LOVED Adam's Ring of Fire. NO, it wasn't country, he only had to choose a country song, not sing it country. He did an awesome job on that song, hit his notes, he's amazing! That was the most interesting version I've ever heard. My youngest son played me a version on his ipod, think it was an Irish version, don't remember, ha ha. (see mean Mama posts) But what the heck about Randy?...why didn't anyone do one of his songs? I agree that was strange & not nice either. And they booted the young mother?...sorry, but the "wannabe former Marine idol guy" should've gone, he's not good enough...dang, what's the former Marine idol guy's name?..sheesh, seen him 3 times & have an autographed pic from him, but he's not a fave either, haha. Gimme Hank Jr., David Allen Coe, George Jones, Willie & Waylon & Kennnnnnnny--ha ha. Brad was off a bit tonight, but liked the song. Look forward to seeing him too. Mostly, gotta see Kenny's custom, sewn on size 29 jeans...yes, good binoc's for that show...hee hee...& hope he takes his hat off & accepts things he can't change!! He's really quite cute from the front too.
