I can't believe I wasted five months watching the worst season of AI ever to get this worthless POS final. I don't even want to watch the finale because I just don't care.

And why the hell can't they make their show fit into the amount of time they have for it, instead of going over every week so my DVR always misses the end? Every other show manages not to go over.

This is my last season of AI.

i know what you mean though AI always cuts off at the end i remember last years finale cut off right when ryan said the next american idol is david....

so now i set the settings on my dvr to record AI an extra 5 minutes after it's supposed to end

I had to do the same thing . . . I remember when Jordin won and my dvr cut off with and the winner is . . . and i had to utube to see the results! I know Adam has it in the bag but I was really excited that Kris made it to the top 2 . . . I loved his acoustic song the other night . . .

i was happily shocked..i like Kris..dont get me wrong..i think Danny has a better voice but it really always ends up more of a popularity contest..and i like Kris...i didnt vote for anyone though. I have to admit my eyes watered up with the homecomings/dannys farewell...loved Kris' adorable dad!!!! overall im content with the results....should be interesting....

The really annoying thing about the show getting cut off is that it's pre-recorded. They know how long they need to make it fit. So they could cut one or two commercials out and everything will be fine. But instead their greed screws everyone over who uses a DVR.

I am just so incredibly fed up with Idol. It's so watered down now compared to previous years. They've managed to sap all the fun out of the show.

Yup, I had a pool at work and the winner came down to if Jordin won or not....I had to quickly look it up on line to see if I had some money coming my way. So annoying!!

I was shocked Kris was still in it, but I'm glad.

I have to say that I only watched the auditions and shows up to the final 12. After that too many shows conflicted so I gave it up. Danny was my FAVORITE ever since the auditions though, so when I heard he was voted off last night, I was pretty bummed. He will get a record deal I'm sure though. Haven't really heard Kris/don't remember him, but of what I've heard of Adam, he is pretty amazing. I can see him in the top 40, and would probably listen to his music, so I'm rooting for him I guess. THe remake he did (can't remember what song) the other night was fantastic. At least the clip I heard on the news was great, lol. Yeah, a diehard AI fan here!

That's been the case for like two years now. This season was so bad I don't think I'll be watching next year. I got no joy or entertainment value from watching AI this year. I don't think it'll be a problem breaking the habit next year.

A friend of mine is having her annual AI finals party tomorrow and for the first time I'm debating skipping it. I just don't care about who wins because I don't think either one is particularly good. The final needed to be Adam against Allison, or at the very least against Danny. I think Kris is as boring as they come and the only thing Adam is good for is a Culture Club tribute band.

Lol okay So...AS crappy as it is..I always get sucked in. I even have tried out TWICE...and am still addicted and still continously watch it. What they show on TV IS NOTHING like what its really like. They dont even show half the crap the people go through and do to even get to the producers which made me have less respect because they dont show it all but yet...HERE i am still watching the show!!

I can't imagine Carrie doing cartwheels to get anyone's attention since she's so mellow. Especially that first year when she was on.
