I would like to confirm that though our RV ticket dates are Sat to Sun we can arrive on Friday and leave Monday morning?

If I heard correctly, you can even show up this year on Thursday??!!

Last year, we were there at 10am Friday, and it was a fiasco getting in still! We came in off the street, down the dirt road, followed the sign that said RV Parking, but once we got to the entrance we were told to drive to the end of the other end of the dirt road, turn around and get in line behind about 40 other Rv's. I told them there was a huge sign at the other end that told us to come that way, but they said quote "too bad, get in that line". So we did so, then apparently about 40 other RV's saw the same sign and came that way, now too many to turn around and they all got to go right in!! That was a bit frustrating trying to turn around over 50' of vehicle, it was a circus with 10 of us trying to do that, I guess I should of video'd that one.

I also heard that you can arrive on thursday. Is this true??? if so what time on thursday?

from the faq:
"The camp area, the camp check in and camping will call all opens at 10am Friday, May 2nd and closes at 10am Monday, May 5th. Early arrival (before 10pm on Friday) is highly recommended, however open through out the weekend for you to arrive and check in at any time."

don't really think it would make sense to open 2 days early.

Did you go thru the mayhem last year? Thursday would make sense! Besides, the bar at the Polo field makes tons of money from us on those nights. I would be there on Thurs Eve if they allow it for sure.

Earlier they had Thursday listed on the Web Site as the early arrival day but changed it to Friday

What happened to coming in on Thursday??? We already put in for vacation time to arrive on Thursday, as it was fairly wild coming in on friday last year. Is it possible to have country girl give us the thought on why it was changed on the web page? Thanks!!

when the 08 info came out it said come early on thursday....we had planned to arrive on thursday and now im reading friday?????

Same confusion here. We made plans to arrive Thursday. Now if they won't let us in until Friday, I need a spot to stay Thursday night. Anyone have any recommendations???
