    Default LA Times Review

I found this article and it got me pumped, so hopefully it will get you pumped also. I think he was looking and listening just as I was! Great review and advise as well as opinions. Phew, glad to know there was someone else that heard what I heard in some bands. But otherwise an awesome event, and now after reading it, I am even more excited about 09!

The following is a copy and paste from the article.

Lynne was one of the few acts playing the Tundra Mane Stage to gripe, justifiably, about playing to the sea of empty VIP/reserved seats directly in front of the stage that are sold for premium prices. This no doubt is a necessary evil to help Stagecoach pay the bills, but it makes for some literally distant performances since the VIP ticket holders typically show up only for one or two headlining acts.

I was at Stagecoach from opening to closing all three days. I pay for a seat and if I choose to sit in it or let it go empty it's my business. I'm all over the place like most attendees. I'm sure that was not the first time and it won't be the last time that Lynne performs to empty seats. Get used to it, especially in California trying to fight all the traffic just to get to a venue, park and hike.

Ya I am not sure what was expected. There are 4 stages at the Stagecoach FESTIVAL. It is meant for people to go wander around to the various stages. You are not required to stay in front of the mane stage all day unless you want to. lol.

Ummmm, unless I missed one this year, there were only 3 for 08'??

Yeah, it is a give and take...take the small stage to perform and you get up close with your fans, take the Mane stage and you loose some of that.
