Anyone a supersticous (sp) type? Don't walk under ladders, scared when the black cat crossed the road etc?
Well today is your day...just not mine. I almost died on Friday the 13th, in July 1979. So A little leary of this day. Started out a good day, getting the boat ready for skiing on Canyon Lake, putting on a new carb, well it back fired and the guy handling the cup of gas freaked, tossed the cup so it wouldn't burn him, and it hit me directly. Spent a month in the hospital and several surgeries later and I am a.o.k. But what a horrible day for me. This was the summer that I was to go to my cheer camp, missed that, but thru therapy, I was able to do my cheerleading my Soph year. Pheww.
Not to depress anyone, just wondering if anyone has had a bad experience on this day?

Also the number's 3,13 are my favorite numbers...

Friday the 13th has been a lucky day for me since grade school.....our classroom was #13 and when a Friday 13th came around our teacher would let us skip our spelling test (they were always on Fridays) and his wife would make us cupcakes!! It was cool!! Sorry to hear yours aren't so lucky Kymery....Oh and today is Brad Paisley for us in SD!!!! WOOHOO!!!

Yeah..I think it was the luck of the draw that my accident and talk with God were on that specific day.
But...I am here and ready and willing to move forward and enjoy life...don't take anything in life for grantit. (sp)?? lol

I don't consider myself a dark thinker. Although if I went through something extemely bad on a Fri the 13th, or after breaking glass or any of those things, I may think twice.
Bad things happen to good people, I for one don't understand why. I just know it's our faith {in what ever that may be} that gets us through the rough times.
I am happy Kymery you made it through your ordeal, or else who would of taught me how to use photobucket.

My mother always said you make your own luck. Which i'm not so sure I agree with. Well thats why we live in america where everyone has the right to their own opinion no matter how wrong someone else thinks they are. Huh where was i going with this sorry cant remember now.
