Winning concert tickets?

I have a question for all you whom have won concerts tickets via the radio etc....

Do you get good seats?

I won Keith Urban, worst seats, opposite of stage and top row.

I won Stagecoach, general admin...aswesome no matter what

I won a few others too, usually they are not good seats at all, thats why they are freebies.

I've never tried to win tickets before but I thought if you get good seats then it would be worth trying to save some cash to spend on Stagecoach.

Radio just gets them and uses them to draw in listeners...radio doesn't really care if they are good seats or not. The only time you know for sure if they are good seats are when you win and then "qualify for the grand prize of front row tickets."

Won Gen Admin for stagecoach last year...was great! lol

WOn tix to see Travis Tritt last year at HOB Sunset strip - Was definately worth that...but standign only no seats in the house.

I would love to win tix no matter how bad the seats are...but not so easy..everyone and the brother is usually trying.

True, sometimes they are front row, signed guitars etc I(although i never win tho's)

Isn't that the truth - If I could win radio tix you'd think I could win the lottery too....and than I would be able to go to all the concerts i want....LOL

the one's i've won are normally in the loge except for stagecoach. you know what though...they're FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! that allows me to now put gas in my car.

That was fun....
Just a fluke I was working on stagecoach for a friend.My comp tickets were already taken by all of us and she wanted to come along...
Got extras after all and everyone was happy .....

I just didn't know how difficult it is to win any kind of concert tickets.

I tried on a daily basis to win - never could get through - my husband did once - he was caller 22 - they wanted 25; my sons friend was caller 16. a week later - that was as close as we ever got b4 I gave up a month prior and just bought my tix thru a private party (with VIP bands) I am not doing that next year .... I am just gonna buy em and if I win some - well than Ill take a few friends...or sell em like others did.

It's crazzeeee trying to win ...but at elast we tried - right?!?!? LOL

Won 1 pair for last year and 2 pairs for this year. Between my sister and I, we've been to many, many concerts courtesy of Go Country oh, and the "previous" station. The trick is...never, ever give up. We tried today for Alan Jackson and she was 14 and 22 and I was 20. Gettin close!!
