Ivan, those are some great pics! Very clear!! Dang, brings back the fun I had that day! Hey notice the guy in the white straw hat in the crowd, to the left of the pic, his hat is on backwards!! ahahaha...there was a guy at the main stage, with his hat on backwards, kept taking it off to cheer on the band and he never noticed...too funny.

BUT THANK YOU..I loved Mike Ness and those are great pics.

OH MY FREAKING GOD!!!! Those pics are unreal!!! Thank you!!! That was one of my favorite performances of the entire weekend, esp since I wasn't sure what to expect....Mike Ness..*sigh*

Wasn't that just a fun show? I wanted to get out on a dance floor and do my old swing dancing, throw me in the air, fly me over my head, thru the legs etc...I sure miss those days. I loved the Rocka-billy days for sure!

i used a Canon 40D and Canon G9. At that time i was using a 28-135mm 3.5-5.6 with an image stabelizer for the 40D at the time of these pictures. i had a photo pass to bring in the SLR.

Social Distortion's Mike Ness is joined on stage by Bruce Springsteen at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ, on May 17. On a break from touring with the E-Street Band, Springsteen hopped on stage to play with Ness and his band during an encore. They performed four songs together, including a cover of "I Fought The Law."

Had to catch a flight on Monday early? Trying to get out early on sunday?
Just courious...
Because you were such a nice guy ......
I never made it over to the other stages.Too hard to get back with all the changes on shooting.....
I still have not had time to go Thu all my photos.
Too far behind in my events..

i hear you on the going through the photos. i still need to do threads for Coachella Days 2 and 3, Stagecoach and Sasquatch. Crazy. i finally finished my Coachella Day 1 thread the other day. WARNING! If you decide to look at it, remember there is a much different sensibility between the boards. The cursing may be a bit harsh at times, but the love is still good.

I have visited the Coachella site...reminds me of my Punk days and the fun we had. That board is a bit radical...but a hoot to read thru.

Mike Ness is great. Back in my high school days we played shows all over so cal as an opening band for those guys.

I was a HUUGE rockabilly fan. Hung with several bands. Dancing all night. Love to swing! I still have my ole 45's from the blasters and many more!
