    Default Memorial Weekend

First of all, for all those that fought, past, present and future that did not make it home and whom won't, this coming Monday is to honor of the nation’s armed services personnel killed in wartime. I personally want to thank them, as well as their families who lost the most.

On the brighter side, I just wanted to continue the fun post we had on what we are doing this weekend if you like to share.

Well, tomarrow my daughter comes home for the summer from SFSU, she will attend RCC just for the summer credits and have them transfered back to SFSU...she said she just can't stay away from mom and the pool in the summer for too long, weather sucks for her up there.

Then I WAS trying to hang with Angiemarie this weekend and have my son race, but factors would not allow that to be possible, then my BBQ had to be cancelled, so basically, we are sitting home, weather not looking too good, so not sure if the pool will be put to use...so I guess it is gardening time, since we will be gone fishing for the next two weekends (perris, then to the Sierra's with Angiemarie and Curtis...whoo hoo)

So I am going to make this a positive weekend anyway and take this weekend to get my home in order. Maybe even fit in a "girls night out" (hint hint).

So, knowing many will be leaving early for the busy weekend, enjoy, drive safe and have a blast! Come back with great pics and share your fun with us!!

I'm with you...May God bless all of our service men and women. My thanks to you all, those still with us and those who are already home. You are all hero's and this is your weekend.

As for me, I'll be heading to Vegas to see my daughter who I've not seen since Christmas as she lives in Minnesota but has flown in to see her gramma, aunt and of course, me, her mom. I'm also going to pick up my step son and bring him home with us. We're so excited. I love him like my own and the excitement is building to be able to see both of them.

Wishing everyone a great and safe weekend and keep these posts coming!!!

May you be blessed beyond your wildest dreams!!!!
    Them prayers work, you know!!!

And I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free....and I'd like to thank the men who died, who gave that right to me and I'm proud to stand up, next to you and defend her still today, cuz their ain't no doubt I love this land...God Bless the USA. Best patriotic song ever written and dedicated to our troops lost.

Memorial Day weekend? let's see..The weather changed, it figures. But may take the Mustang out for a cruise..topless of course, yes it's a convertible...May head up to Green Valley Lake. Coming from a military family will go to Rose Hills and honor those that I have lost. Then, lastly, prepare for knee surgery on Tuesday.Yup, Seems Stagecoach was the final blow for me, I blew out my knee that weekend, so I'll have an arthroscopy and partial menisectomy Tuesday morning. Looks like I'll have to put the line dancing on hold for a few weeks KG, but if I do things right I'll be back on my feet quickly. So Hodgee and KG save me a place at InCahoots!

Ok - First & Foremost - I give honor to all that have served our country past & present! I respect all of them....they do not have it easy, trying to protect our country and do "the right thing".

I am a Navy "brat" and my husband was in the Navy also....so I am proud to be a part of the military.

As for this weekend - no plans now that the BBQ was cancelled but hoping to get in that girls night out ... u have no idea how bad I need it.
I will probably being sitting at home and maybe do some grilling...but thats about it....unless someone comes up with something better to do..... ::HINT HINT::

    I know how to:
2-step - but can always use a brush up....
I can waltz too! - but it's been a while for that also.
10-step and cotton-eyd joe (old skool line dance circa 1985-1990)
    Electric Slide

OH and we learned that new one the other night festival!!! what was the name of it tho...LOL!

Yes, thank you to all those who have served and are serving in our Armed Forces. My last 2 boyfriends were part of the Marines so I know what it's like to go through several deployments with them. They are all my heroes!!

As for this weekend, I'm heading down to Sea World on Saturday for some free beer tasting. I guess I'll look at some animals too. =) Then it's out to dinner for my friend's birthday. All that Mexican food talk made us crave Mexican so that's where we're eating. Sunday I'll just be chilling....Monday I'm going to Fiesta Hermosa. It's a craft and food fair down by the beach. However, this country mondays at TJ's sounds fun....maybe I can convince Kitty to go with me.....

FF, let me know if there is anything you need before, during or after your surgery!

I also saw my Dr due to my leg going out at Stagecoach, sheesh, what was in the water, but mine is from my low back and sciatica, surgery last year, hoping its just a flair up, on major 1 wk meds, then if not better back for a MRI...then we will see. Hes worried that I feel/hear the instruments in my back popping...so I gotta take it easy this weekend and drug myself up, well except for the hopefull girls night out.
