Somehow I knew this would turn into a bashing Shania thread. It's sad that her folks died at such a young age and she had to raise her little brother all by herself. She is a strong woman and hopefully will stay strong through her divorce. I HATE seeing anybody go through a divorce, especially with children involved no matter who they are.

Shania Twain thanks fans for support in wake of marital split

Sunday, June 8, 2008 – Shania Twain sent a letter to her fans via her web site last week about her split from husband Robert "Mutt" Lange, thanking them for their support.
"As I am sure you have seen or heard; I am going through a rough time personally in my life. I wanted you all to know that I could not be getting through this without you. Your letters, emails and words of encouragement give me strength. Your overwhelming support reminds me to smile, no matter how deep the pain and to always be grateful for all the beautiful blessings in my life."
"I have so much to say, but I know the best way for me to speak is through my music. This is my therapy, my passion, and my love. I look forward to sharing it with all of you as I begin this new journey."

Twain reportedly has been working on a new CD, which could be out this year, but nothing is firm about a release date. Lange produced Twain's albums.

I'm sure glad I'm not famous. I would hate to have the fact that my husband cheated on me all over every magazine and in the news. I really feel sorry for their kid. He doesn't deserve this at all.
