Any plans for anyone, concert wise, or otherwise this weekend?

We are going to Collective Soul at Fantasy Springs in Indio, maybe hitting the local bars afterwards, we are staying at a hotel close to Neils and Tack Room.

Has anyone seen Collective Soul, either in person or TV? I saw them on TV with a full orchestra behind them, omg, what a show!! That got me hooked, although I had always listened to them. I know they are not countr, but with 4 boys and a girl between 14-22 you listen to a lot of music at the track.

I hope they have that again when we see them, we were fortunate enough to get awesome VIP seating, they had great prices!!

Going to Neils for Stagecoach was my very first time. I don't know if they will have the same crowd (workers of Coachella & Stagecoach) but it was a fun little place. People were getting drunk and doing some funny karaoke.

Sorry that I live so far away because I would join you and your hubby again in a heartbeat. What a fun night and I'm still giggling about the drunk guy that danced laying on the floor. It's such a cute place. The only thing I would of changed, playing a little bit of pool too. I still can't believe that the chef came out and took our order plus served us herself. She was a really good chef. I really enjoyed the "trying to impress" bonus food. yum

It looks like I may be going to the Gun Show in Ontario at some point this weekend - my husband loves his guns...

Saturday I will be packing AGAIN

Sunday I will take off to Memphis Tennessee and go to Graceland the home of Elvis for a couple of days. Off to Nashville (music row) for a couple of days then Hazard Kentucky.

Hard because there are always some party to go to every weekend.
Sunday will be nice leading for the annual Photos of all our pastoral Staff at church....
I love Sunday's they are my favorite day of the week.....

Here in Torrance they have an Armed Forces Day parade each year - so I'll be at that with my mom, Grandma, and nephews. Makes for some fun eye-candy sometimes! So that's where I'll be Saturday.

Sunday - not sure yet.

Rose - HAVE FUN! Memphis and Nashville are fun!!! Some GREAT bars on Broadway in Nashville!!! I think the 2nd Fiddle was my favorite - although next time I'm there I have to check out other ones - you know, so I can REALLY judge my favorite!

Who needs AC in Newport? Wow, the beach would be awesome this weekend for sure. I will be sweating it in Indio for sure. Have fun Cooter, and remember to take off that darn ripped shirt so yas dont get that darn farmers tan!

Oh, that is a great place, great golf course, I send a lot of people there. Have a good time! I am here in La Quinta right now, hot and a bit muggy strange enough, like hot, overcast river weather. But I love it. Doug and I will be here on Sat thru Sunday also!

Kids...what kids?? this is a NO kid weekend, although they would give anything to see Collective Soul!

We are heading out about 10-11 or so, I wil call you, maybe we can stop by and say howdy for a bit...then we need to go eat, and get checked in and cleaned up for the concert.

We will have you over to our pool at home soon! I am working on some things as we speek!
