Exclamation Next year they should mount the huge screens higher on the sides and do away with VIP

As someone who can't stand for a whole evening,
Next year they should mount the huge viewing screens HIGHER on the towers on the side so if you are seated you can see the screens better. Many older people or disabled people can not stand and when someone would move in front of you, you could no longer see with the screens so low.

$800+ for the VIP seats left them very empty, the section should be smaller or cheaper. We make a great living but have a hard time justifying $1,600+ for a concert and $6.00+ for beer and $2 for water everyday.
The General Admission was a great price, would pay it again. No problems with that. But, the performers had "energy" problems with the crowd sooo far away from them and so much empty space between them.

My point was appareently lost in mentioning the water price.
I was more stating to the event planners to make adjustments to their future concerts and seeing that maybe with some changes things could be better and more could enjoy the event better. I'm not as concerned with the water $.

    I'm sorry cdav.

Your concerns deserve respect. My mom and dad were both in wheelchairs before they passed away and it was always difficult to go to things or see stuff. In my Dad's time we had to carry him everywhere because there was no curb cuts or ANYTHING considered ADA. We had a really difficult time traveling in Hawaii (his only vacation). With my mom, not much had changed in 15 years. Once we were on the road and decided it's time for a bathroom stop and we figured the best would be the HOSPITAL in Tennessee but it did not have an accessible bathroom???? McDonalds was where we ended up. This past weekend I looked up at the ADA platform and felt sorry for you all being in the heat with no shade (just like us VIP folks). I'm peeling now after SPF50 so you must be in the same boat or worse.

I agree with the screen comment.

At Glen Helen pavillion (blockbuster) they used to have screens in the middle of the audience for the people further back to see. They should do this at Stagecoach. Instead of just the two screens by the stage, they should also have some others further out. Hey, they could also have them placed around by the food too (just like at Staples center, etc.).

What do you mean they USED to..are they gone? Those were great when you have lawn seats. They were there for Brad and Kelly

OK, maybe they're still there--good. Last time I was there I probably didn't see them because I was sitting too close I guess.

That is exactally why... I think it was mentioned in an earlier post that my daughters fiance works for the company that supplies the screens for StageCoach, not to mention many other huge events and they have to take a lot of factors into consideration.. Unfortunely it is what it is... and they have to keep it safe for all...

    That makes sence....
Once it all starts and the drinks are flowing many forget all the hard work behind the scenes to make it all possible for everyone....

And if I remember correctly, last year they were higher but were lowered when the winds picked up on Sat nite and they were swinging pretty good...def not safe!! But the screens farther out is a great compromise!
