    Default Gretchen Wilson

O.k. I know I started a thread long before Stagecoach about Gretchen singing California Girls, but Im too tired to find it....

I'm now a HUGH fan of Gretchen Wilsons. I liked her before (except that one song) and now I SOOOOOOO respect her for making that decision. I will now go and purchase her music and show my thanks through the almighty dollar.

No offense to you native born California girls....I love the song. I'm from Iowa and Colorado though. In that song, she's referring to the "plastic people" from Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Glad you're a new fan, Rose!

I liked Gretchen before but I thought she put on an amazing show. She made me an even bigger fan!

Hodgee, you and KittyLeigh's step-dad apparently have the same girlfriend. Uh oh!

I've gotta agree that Gretchen totally kicked butt in her set -- I was so impressed. She did more than warm up the audience. Certain other artists should take a few tips from Gretchen!

    Thumbs up Re: Gretchen Wilson

Gretchen had the best set of the day IMO! She is awesome live!

I can't wait for her new album to come out! I think she said the first single will be released in a few weeks!! I'm looking forward to hearing she songs on the radio again!

I hope they have her back next year!!

I'm a country music fan, but I love the songs, I have never been one to really know about the stars behind them. Stagecoach was a time for me to get to know the stars.

Gretchen was awsome! I loved how she tried some new songs from her upcoming album. She is one tough woman, and hearing her "homewrecker" song made me want to toughen up and take some martial arts to put a little more fight in me (not that I would need it, but she made me want to be able to kick some a$$).

I do not usually purchase CDs, but I definately think I'm going to be getting some itunes! I now have a renewed love for country (it had never waned, it just grew stronger). I also liked getting to hear more variety from each artist, not just the HITS played 10 times a day in the same order on the radio.

Gretch was great. My wife and I have seen her for years. She is trully coming into her own on stage. She can back up her amazing voice with a great stage presence. Seriously, who can cover Journey better than that!?!? You need to hear her do Picture with Kid. The only thing missing for us was California Girls. Of all places not to play it: California? WTF??

First time I've seen her, but certainly not the last. She was a big surprise to me. She did a great set and would have liked to have heard more. Some of the bigger names didn't do as well as she. Great performance!!!!

Maybe you need to exit the Great State of California. I'm a native and don't take to the trashing. You obviously arent from California or LA. This is not kewl. Even Gretchen had the sense to not go there and turned out to be one class act.

I don't think they need to leave Cali just for wanting to hear a song, unless I missed that part of the constitution.

It's just about respect. Gretchen definately has it.

I loved her performance, but it's really just a song. No more, no less.
