Most festivals allow standard snapshot camera's, but video camera's are a no no. No SLR camera's either.
Cell phones are fine.
Yes, in Event Info, Rules, it says we can bring digital or film cameras, just not professional cameras (they define this as having a removable lens.) It says we can not bring video cameras. It doesn't say anything about cell phones but they are usually allowed everywhere. I'd like to see them confinscate everyone's cell phone!
Thank you
Lexi....ask your mom and dad about "film cameras". They'll tell you about the good old days. Before cell phones, video games, microwaves, computers/internet and maybe before color TV!. Also ask them about an "E ticket" ride at Disneyland. The world has changed a great deal in a short period of time.

A flim camera is a camera that takes film - rather than a memory card.
In the olden days you put a film in your camera, then took it to a shop to develop the pictures. All very technical.
You're welcome.
Next week I will be covering the following question:
"What is a black and white television?"
Be sure to tune in.
LOL!!!
I'd like to know what's wrong with a "film camera"?
Us Olde Pharts have grown very fond of them y'know.
I'll go back to listening to my radio now since my black and white is on the fritz!
Problem is....they scaling back on making film...so the prices will skyrocket. I have an awesome 35mm I bought a few years back, then I got a new digital one. Kids are in photo class at school and they are learning on the film type, so they use mine to practice.
Downfall to people who are not "photo savy", with film cameras, you chance getting that good pic and only find out after paying for developing. Digital, you can delete and take it over and over until you get the right shot. Saves money, AND the environment with trash from the containers, film rolls etc.
never lets me down
