    Talking RV Camping

So there is no limit on how many are in the RV as long as they pay the $50?
Can the kids sleep outside in a tent next to the RV?

Any new news on this post yet? It's a good question as my oldest son always sleeps in a tent outside the rig

Bob it sounds like everyone has to pay $50. If you have a large family you are going to get it in the $%*. It's bad enough that it will be $100 for my husband and I along with a $75 fee for electrical hookup. It sounds like we'll be off site camping and using our generator, have our pets, have ALCOHOL AND BEER, and enjoying a campfire at night. I have a friend who lives over there and he's getting me some more info on the area. Sounds like this camping is a huge rip off.

There are some excellent offsite camping options available. I have spent many hours searching the internet compiling information to ease your searches. Please check the offsite camping page on our website.

    Thumbs up Re: RV Camping

I checked-out local camping and some are very close and a whole lot cheaper for 2-3 nights.

I agree, I am disappointed with the costs all around on this event. I was excited when I first heard about it, than when I saw the costs I swallowed a lump in my throat. We had to sit down and see if we can fit it in our budget seeing the entire weekend will end up costing almost $2000 for the family. It’s ashamed that we can’t enjoy family activities like this without having to clean out the savings account. The camping fees are totally outrageous, especially when it's not even a campground; it's just a huge field! I can go stay at a five star campground for $60 a night and have all the whole family with me! Or I can go stay at a dirt field campground for about $10 a night!
But I guess we have to pay for convenience. Not having to drive after drinking at the festival, having the ability to go back (I HOPE!) for lunch in the RV, walking to the festival instead of having to deal with parking. That brings up another question I haven’t seen anyone ask, is there a charge for parking if we were to decide to stay somewhere else? And would we have in and out privileges from the parking lot if we wanted to go to the local restaurant for lunch?

I totally agree with you Bob. After seeing all the posts, seeing all the costs, and figuring out it will cost 2 of us nearly $750 for the weekend, my husband and I have decided not to go. We have seen Kenny Chesney and Brooks and Dunn. I haven't seen George Strait and would like to, as well as Alan Jackson; but we are willing to gamble we'll see them somewhere where there are not so many hassles. I'm sure it will be fun for some. But not this couple! We'll pass on the crowds and the hassle.
