You know hes going to play Ball and chain... he gets an hour so he should be able to get some good songs in. only thing that sucks is my friends didnt get tickets for Friday Night so I'm gonna have to roll solo to see Ness!! cheating at solitare is awesome.

i was given some VIP wristbands... what does that get me? Im sure there is a thread out there....just lazy and at work.

Maybe you should check out Trisha Yearwood instead.

I've been a huge SD fan since 1985 but seeing Mike Ness at the same event as the likes of Rascal Flatts & Carrie F-ing Underwood is a trip. Don't get me wrong though, he's the whole reason I'm making the trek out there since I haven't seen him play live since 1999. I guess if this shindig is good enough for John Doe to play last year, then it's good enough for Mike Ness.

And maybe you should check out Rascal Flatts! Haven't seen Ness since 99 and you call yourself a fan.......

Mike Ness rocked the Palomino stage! I loved every minute of his set. He was the only set I was excited about seeing before hand and not disappointed in. The Randy Rodgers Band, Mike Ness, John Forgerty Dwight, and Big and Rich showed up to play and the people loved them. The rest of the over hyped, over paid, disconnected acts can find a new festival to ruin.

Hey now!! I dont need to "watch" them to know for sure I would like them, but i did see them!! NOT impressed at all, Ness was awesome, nice to see him and what he can do and still does!

My opinion, H2H and Whiskey falls deserved that mane stage over the Fats!!!!!!!!!!! Whiskey falls rocked!! I was so impressed. The fats were boring, come on guys, no entertaining at all. I just dont get it. He just walked up and down those stairs like he was wearing heals. That dark haired guy that talked a bit was more enteretaining, getting the audience going.

Then dont get me started on Big and Rich...sheesh, seemed like Cowboy Troy thought he owned country, and why the heck was he on there for so long, I did NOT pay to see him!! HIS MUSIC SUCKED We left on his 3rd song...Ok open with a song, but he was on there taking up time. I was willing to experince B&R, even after seeing them on tv sucked, but I was nOT willing to sit thru a 1/2 our of Troy on THEIR time.

The Desert Sun reported 5 arrests for Friday. I had to laugh that only ONE for drunk & disorderly.

I was over at the Toyota area and the girl who was giving out the breathalizer test kept repeating over and over again, "well you can be a passenger". One girl, she said to her WOW.

The porta johns were all smoked out. It was cool cuz I'd rather smell weed smoke than a porta john. I don't smoke BTW. I've never been to a concert where people weren't smoking weed.
