nothing through the festival, and probably not through anyone else unless you rent a party bus.
I know some hotels offer shuttles to their guests. not sure which hotels though.
We are staying @ our family condo. No hotel. I was hoping for some type of public shuttle. I guess we will have to cab it.
can also put out a request here for carpoolers.
I saw some onsite campers lugging their stuff along monroe and picked them up and took them to the entrance. they were stoked. (this past weekend)
Palm Springs...!!!?I want a hotel in Palm Springs for Memorial does anyone know of any nice hotels in Palm Springs?
hotels.com?
Why do you want to stay in Palm Springs?
All the good places are either in Rancho Mirage,Palm Desert or La Quinta.....
Palm springs is all old world kinda places and kinda run down....
Life is always beautiful......
YIKES...I'd post on Craigslist for a carpool...last yr we stayed in an RV park 2 miles from Polo grounds for Coachella...taxi was $20 each way!!...for 2 friggin miles!...a couple yrs ago we were in PSprings & took a taxi to see an entertainer in Desert Hot Springs...$120 round trip...think you'll do better w/private rides listed on the internet...off topic, but post under tix to try to get bites too...taxi's will kill ya...good luck...will be worth any price!
Even though the gorgeous resorts and Palm Springs Luxury Hotels are in Rancho Mirage & Palm Desert, I prefer to stay at at one of the Palm Springs Hotels. It's lovely to walk downtown---great shopping, restaurants and people watching!

Avis and Budget are offering Stagecoach fans special discounts for their car rental needs on a wide selection of vehicles ranging from eco-friendly and fuel efficient compacts and hybrids to stylish premium and luxury sedans. These special discounts are good from one week before to one week after the event. It may not be the cheapest route, but it actually does compare to constantly taking the cab everywhere. At least this way you can leave when you want, drive around the surrounding areas, and essentially have the comfort of driving your "own" vehicle.
sweet, and you are offering spam! my favorite!
Valley Music Travel is offering shuttle services

Having done both--stayed in Palm Springs Downtown and driven to the festival and camped at the festival--I prefer camping in the RV camp. It's a weekend party there and you avoid the traffic jams. Here is a good sites to find places that allow pets: Pet Friendly Hotels Palm Springs.
