I was just out there last weekend- Anza Borego- and that wind on Sunday was brutal leaving Palm Springs- Used up so much fuel I was never so Happy To see the exit sign for the 60

Yeah, towing against the wind sucks big time!
They boys left to the Sierras this am, and got there around 2pm. I told them they can go only if they tent camp, cuz it costs too much to tow that trailer up that damn 395. It usually takes 2+ tanks, wellll...not towing, they only used a bit over 1/2 tank!!! whoo hoo!!!
I needed the rig here to clean it for MY trip! selfish me! They can freeze in that 30 degree night weather! They are men and are tough.

$4.49 FOR DIESEL AT WHAT 9-11 MPG
TRY $3.90+ FOR GAS AT 5-6 MPG

Am I going to get cyber smacked if I note that my Camry gets 200 miles to a tank? That means I can drive to Stagecoach and back for 1 1/2 tanks of gas.......or about $65-70. (I think I'm gonna duck now.)
