From my experience, doing stuff in the aisle way is generally okay - just as long as you can put it in your campsite at night/when you leave, etc.
The only restriction is no glass - it's not that hard to just pour whatever alc into a plastic 2L bottle, and that way you'll get to bring more than a standard handle (1.75 L). Everybody wins!
