In most areas, the two festivals are quite similar. Lots of partying in the campgrounds, a long walk to the venue, then lots of fun music inside.
The two things I liked most about Country Thunder...
Despite everything that has gone down over the past few months, I really hope y'all have a blast next weekend! We had an amazing time at Country Thunder this past weekend and I feel it's always...
There is no tent camping, just RV camping.
I've gone with two different approaches in the past.
1. Only take the essentials...car key, phone, & wallet into festival and keep in pockets, leave rest locked in car at camping.
2. Take stuff in...
Such informative and accurate information. Thank you so much for your contribution to our community.
I like when people are intolerant of other people stating their opinions. That's my favorite.
I'm glad you shared as well. I was '08-'12 also.
That's an interesting article. There are a lot of similar pages on facebook for Stagecoach now. I wonder if artists with a "party reputation" like Toby Keith will have anything to say at Stagecoach...
And by the way, despite the level of partying I take it to, which I'm guessing a lot of people have trouble keeping up with, I've still never caused a problem there or gotten out of hand. I think...
I'm in...for Country Thunder.
I keep mentioning it, but the thing I don't get is that if the focus is 100% on the music and the camping is designed just for people to lay their heads down at...
The thing that I find silly in all the recent articles by the Stagecoach promoters is that they're saying the whole change in camping is to get back to the music and discourage all the rowdiness. If...
See ya there! I'm excited to try something new just to get a new experience, drama or not!
I think the problem people have is with not being able to camp unless they own an RV, so if you've got yourself one, I definitely think you should go to Stagecoach. Like I said previously, I'm not...
$800 in fuel? Where do you think Country Thunder is? I have a Prius, it will cost like $100-$150 round trip, but I'm thinking about flying, $140 roundtrip!
It's too bad I won't be going this year so I can get my tupperware back from KuznEdy.
To keep being creative to get around the ridiculous rules made each year just supports what they are doing to us. I will take my creative money to Country Thunder in Arizona, but I do sincerely hope...
I did hotel in '08 and '09. I had a good time, but that was before I ever tried camping there and realized what the event was really about. I have done RV, Tent, and Car camping the past three...
The camping bombshell has taken everyone's attention away from the fact that GA tickets have doubled in price this year.
Have fun this year gang. After going the past 5 years, I'm not allowed to camp this year, so I will be spending my money elsewhere. Between no tent camping and no RV rentals, it's pretty much...
It happens to us all. I know we probably won't have the line up for another 6 weeks or so, but I still check daily.
There are all different kinds of ceviche, we've made three different ones in my Latin Cuisine class so far. None of them had crab, but one of them was a shellfish ceviche which I'm sure you could...
Are those single day tickets still for sale? I had to cut off my wristband at the end of the show, so I have nothing at this point.
We just made a pretty good ceviche in culinary school last week. I could give you that recipe if you like.
