thanks rose, good advice at that thread. we have reserved a condo in Indio. What I want to know is what it's like in the venue. Do you need to get there really early to stake out a spot or do you just wander from stage to stage during the day to see the smaller acts. What is the flow of the crowd?
Do yourself a favor and DON'T stake out your spot. This is a festival and the point is to move around between the stages. As you get closer to the end of the night, people will start getting up and there will be space to move around and get a little closer to the action at the Mane Stage. Just my two cents.
Most people seem to stake out a spot to the mane stage and I do too when I've attended GA. I put my chair and blanket down and then I'm off (ones I don't care if someone takes but yet to have happen to me). I'm with robert I do a TON of walking around. Unless you go VIP with a seat at the mane stage you will be seeing those artists from the big screens and there are many. I LOVE the smaller stages. Can't believe how up close I've been to see those artists. Everybody does Stagecoach differently. The set times and which stages come out only a few days before the festival and that's when I start doing my planning.
