There's a button (blue) at the top of each section that says "New Thread"
Re: The New Everything Thread
Orange Slushies sound good :) I think I might try and stay on beer too until after all the performances. I don't wanna miss one song! But they usually end by 11, then I shall party on with all y'all whiskey gals :)

I wear boots every time I go, if only to keep the muck off of my feet. Especially in those porta potties.

It's a total pet peeve of mine. Well that and these:
than/then
your/you're
sale/sell
their/there/they're (I've taught my 6 year old the difference on these!)
alot (not a word)
There are probably at least a dozen others that drive me crazy, but I RARELY call anyone out on it. The only time I'll point it out is if it's at work on a document going out to a customer.

Yep... I work in Real Estate transaction compliance. So many agents have horrible spelling and grammar!

Haha. I'm with you both on this one. I know I'm not perfect, but dang!! Just received an e-mail at work the other day and the subject line read "YOUR INVITED". I instantly thought of how embarrassing that is since it was sent to bosses and over 100 employees.

I am called the grammar nazi by my friends. I dont point it out to people I dont know well.....Although I do hope someone else will! Haha The WORST is when I accidently mess up (Its happened a couple times, not going to lie). I want to claw my own eyes out!!!

I have on multiple occasions. What gets me is that the spell check isn't getting it I guess. Oh well. Whaddayagonnado?

Not gonna lie, I've slipped too, but usually an oversight not because I don't know the difference or can't spell. My ex-bf (J for those that know him) is a good friend of mine and he just WAITS for the 1 out of like 100 posts on FB where I goof. He's called me out twice, on massages (I know how to spell messages, just start typing too fast for my brain to catch up!).
But typo's never bother me, and usually you can tell which is which. Like if I tyoed that, your would know I meant typed and hit the "o" instead of the "p".
Last pet peeve. When people excessively and INCORRECTLY use "quotations". I see it ALL the time and it drives me "nuts". <--See?
