It is OK to take the shuttle to the store. that is A shuttle. that is not the same as 100s or 1000s of people trying to drive back and forth around town coming in and out.
does that help?

I guess im less worried about the driving bit of it and more thinking about whether or not I can personally leave the Polo Fields and allowed to return? There were many occasions last year that I walked to meet with people dropping off stuff outside the polo fields or to that bar down the block (cant remember exactly haha).
thats what i was thinking. people where asking if they were not camping and they went into to the VENUE when it opened and than left and came back was that aloud? cuz website says no. so thats why i was telling people my opinion was no your not aloud to but we were trying to clarify.
You can try. they are not letting there be pedestrian traffic at all on certain streets though. traffic needs to be controlled. there are people that live there all year round and unfortunately some concert goers don't behave outside the confines of the grounds. lol
cut her some slack man... CountryGurl usually answers all of our questions quickly and accurately. If theres one that isn't clear then we'll just have to figure it out when we get there. The rules are set anyway, theres nothing you, I or she (probably) can do about it.
if you dont plan on leaving then lets stop harping on this repeatedly. this is a 3 day music festival with 50k people going in a residential area surrounded by 2 lane streets that will be blocked off and directed by indio police. it can not handle in and out traffic. some of the surrounding roads will not allow pedestrian traffic. you can take a supermarket shuttle. cars wont be allowed freely in and out of companion parking, there are times posted. you can go in and out from venue to camping. I think some people are over-thinking things for no reason.
This is not a new rule. Been around since the very beginning of Stagecoach 2007. SOME people try to slice and dice these rules to accomidate what they want to do, not thinking about others, traffic, neighbors etc...
When people ask maybe your answer can be...read your rule book and/or No ins or outs except to RV/Tent/Car Camping/Shuttle areas. Very simple.
This is our first Stagecoach - since it sounds like we cannot go back and forth to hotel during the day for whatever - is there plenty of stuff to do during the day while waiting for bands?? I have no idea what to expect ... those Days on the Green were a LONG time ago!!!
just needed a simple answer like this. it was not for me. it was for everyone else that was asking. i tried explaining that rules say no in & outs so go by that. but everyone else wasnt happy with me saying there's no leaving and coming back so just trying to get an answer from someone else higher up. thats all
Okay, so my only question is...can I take my shuttle that I paid $94 for, to my hotel and back? It only makes sense to be able to do this. I understand that people can not drive their cars in and out, and many roads will be closed to pedestrian. I just simply need to know if I can leave the festival, take the shuttle to my hotel, and then come back.
