2012 - Deals on Drinks and other stuff
Similar thread helped me out a few years ago so i thought i would bring one back for this year. If you see a good deal on beer, camping stuff, food, chairs or anything that would be helpfull for stagecoach, post it here.
Stater Bros has 36 pack of bud/bud light for $20.99 and you get a 24 pack of 16oz water for $.01. So far thats the best deal on beer ive seen (.58c per beer) and free water to boot! good through 4/10
Big five has 10x10 eazy ups for $75. Not a smoking hot deal but probably the cheapest around.
Good website to use before heading out... http://gasbuddy.com/ (with a 60gal fuel tank and 7mpg, every nickle counts!)
If anyone sees deals on pineapples the week before, please advise.
Thanks, good luck!

Great idea! I get most of my fruit SUPER cheap from the OC Marketplace (Farmer's Market section). Not sure if that's very helpful though! I'll let ya know if I see any at normal stores!

hahahaha, well true. maybe put on some blinders? lol.
the nice thing for me is that I dont have a membership....so, i cant buy anything else but the alcohol...and I dont need a membership...living on my own, i just dont have use for the 20lbs of cheese lol.
btw, ive heard that the kirkland vodka...is made by grey goose...justtt saying.
Re: 2012 - Deals on Drinks and other stuff
I've heard that about the liquor too... Their tequila is supposedly Cuervo 1800
Re: 2012 - Deals on Drinks and other stuff
Yep, those distilleries produce and bottle for Kirkland but its not excactly the same product. They distill and filter it less times so its cheaper to make but still taste pretty good to me for half the price. (that will be another $100 in booze for your costco cart.. along with mixers, limes, juice, etc... they gotcha again!)

Pretty much costco brand liquor is pretty much the same as the best of that brand of liquor. so vodka-grey goose, tequila - cuervo 1800. so kirkland brand is much better deal and pretty much same taste. now sams club is different there crap is nasty

What TYPE makes all the difference. The material used is what makes an EZ-Up quality or easily breakable. Yo uvery well could have gotte a great deal still! Some of those things aren't rated to hold up in moderately strong winds (like at SC...or Lake Isabella)
Re: 2012 - Deals on Drinks and other stuff
I'm definitely making a costco run before stage now! Had no idea about the vodka and tequila!
