Re: NEW RV CAMPING NEAR BY
Awesome news, GV!
There going to be a shuttle stop there?
Re: NEW RV CAMPING NEAR BY
Thats cool they have more RV space available... I might have friends interested in this. I hav a few questions...
Will they have all the same amenities as the Polo Fields... Water/Dump service, Showers, general store, toilets, lighting, etc.
Will they have power?
Is the ground dirt, grass, or pavement?
Sorry for all the questions, i just dont know what to expect or how to explain the location.
Re: NEW RV CAMPING NEAR BY
heard it's right next to the police station, too. play your cards right and free rides back at night! or a night since you probably won't see a judge til monday.
Re: NEW RV CAMPING NEAR BY
not a bad idea... You get a roll of toilet paper for your pillow and can eat your fruit loops with a plastic spork in the morning. (so ive heard)
Re: NEW RV CAMPING NEAR BY
This is camping that the fairgrounds are offering so you should direct questions you have to them. The number is posted above. Feel free to report back any helpful info. It seems close enough to ride a bike!
Re: NEW RV CAMPING NEAR BY
Thanks... It looks like they just cut and pasted the rules for polo grounds so i thought there was some other connections with the rules and services. i will research them.
the bike ride to the festival might not be bad in the late morning/early afternoon, but riding back at midnight might be a little sketchy.

2012 RV camping $400 for the weekend.

Whoa, there. Hold your horses. It may sound like a bargain at first, but read the fine print (page 3):
* Each camper must wear a wristband to gain re-entry into RV camping. Each RV will receive six (6) RV parking wrist bands per RV Space.
* Every camper is required to purchase a $50 Shuttle Pass for transportation to the Festival.
So..... it's just like the SC "RV Resort": Only 6 guests. AND they are REQUIRED to buy shuttle passes @ $50 a pop. So it's $400 for camping, and another $300 for the shuttle. $700?!?!?!?!? This sucks :(
