The new spots are only 10X15, so I think I'll stick with car camping. We cannot buy those anyway because if they see that we already bought one, they will cancel it.

I keep getting random questions via private message. Unless its a super private question or one that is super long and complex, I think its better to ask on the forum in case other people have the same question.
I have a question: What if I want to buy a tent spot for someone as a gift? My daughter bought her festival pass but was unable to get a car tent spot. Now that there will be more camping (and she has her festival pass), I want to buy her a camping spot as a surprise.
you're only option would be, assuming you have a festival pass, if you dont already have a camping pass and you were one of the lucky people to be able to get a tent camping pass then you would have to pick up the pass as explained on the camping page and then hand it to her after.
Question about Campground Curfews...Is there a curfew in El Dorado 1? The website says "Eldorado 2 is a more cost effective campground geared towards people that may like to celebrate a bit later than others. Although we have an enforced curfew in other sites..." It never says what the curfew is in the other sites. I can't imagine staff trying to shut us down at any particular time when we paid big bucks to be there. Any thoughts or experience?
were you planning on having obnoxiously loud party all night long so nobody in that camping lot could get any rest? that probably wont be allowed.
when your curfew hits just bring your drinks to ED2 and meet some curfew-less friends
They (security and/or police) came by and shut down our music at 2-3am most nights. We had a loud stereo set up though. We turned on a small portable radio down low and it was fine. Nobody stopped us from hanging outside and enjoying ourselves. ED 1 just slows down by 2-3am anyway. If you need loud music after 2am just walk a few hudred yards south to EDII.
This year we are bringing our two boys, age 9 and 10 with us and RV camping in Eldo I, Is their anything we need to bring with us, such as birth certificates to verify their ages? Just asking, we are in the process of adopting them and would like to get started on anything we will need. Thanks
If they look older, just bring proof of birth year. if anything, just to avoid any arguments. might as well.
Hey Countrygurl .. just checking ..does car camping have a curfew?
just dont be rude to your neighbors.
I can remember playing beer pong by flashlight at about 4 or 5 am last year. Pretty much everyone was asleep, but there were still some partiers out and about, so as long as you're courteous of those around you, you can stay up all night.
sounds good to me :)
