Just weren't our cup of tea :)
So what did Simon think of the performance! Lol, sounds like idol judges!
I thought everyone, and I mean EVERYONE else I saw was great, that chick was just way off key. But everybody has their own musical preferences! Ok, now I'm being one of those negative opinionated people that I don't care for. Sorry ya'll!

I agree with your review with the exception of Sugarland. I enjoyed their performance.
I hate that some of my favorites on the Mane Stage were pitted against some of the older artists on the smaller stages, but I guess there's no way to avoid this to a degree. The wife & I really enjoyed BJ Thomas. I wanted to stick around for Ray Price & Merle, but they were in the same time slot as some of the bigger performers. I now regret that I missed Merle.

^+1000^
The artist I wanted to see the most was Merle Haggard at this festival.
My biggest regret of the weekend is that it was too hot for me to walk from the Mane Stage to see Merle. I've already seen SugarLand and never intended to sit there and watch them. I just couldn't handle walking over there in 95 degree heat.
