The Everything thread.. so people cant complain about it.

I work at a small university in LA. WHY AM I AT WORK TODAY? What kind of school is open on President's day? ugh. I just loved driving to work....on a holiday....in the pouring down rain.

OK - I'm done whining about it (for now anyway - haha). At least it's super quiet here. But I COULD be catching up on lots of TV I still have to watch! :)

Don't feel too bad, I'm working... lol... Although I agree with you, hahaha... sucks to be at school or work today....

My university is actually open today for classes, but closed next Friday.. go figure. I took today off to finish a few projects... but still haven't done it yet, lol. Waiting to hear if we have to take state furlough days.

Yep! But I've seen VERY few students compared to a normal Monday (not a huge number here anyway since we're closing next year...but even more quiet than normal!) I think most of them just assumed there wasn't class - and my guess is that instructors didn't bother to remind them so they wouldn't show up! ha

That is weird about being closed next Friday!?

I like the rain, especially the puddles. WOOOO

I know... the campus president said there are fewer classes on friday's, so less of an impact on instructional days.

i would love frog boots..!! lol... my rain boots have polka dots...thought I gave up galoshes when I was in kindergarten.

Weather Guy's guess for Bakersfield is sunny skies for tomorrow....but rain again Saturday - Tuesday.

I just wait and see...these guys are hardly ever right.

So it looks like the Auto Club 500 will be rained out once again.

Im so pissed, but at the same time sounds like fishing weather for saturday :)
