I highly recommend Elixir nanoweb strings. They have killer tone. They're a little pricey but worth it. Thanks for the info!

Hey Willie! What kind of acoustic do you play? WHat's the best way to learn to play lead? I can play most chords backwards and forwards but I'm getting bored with it and want to throw in some notes now & then.

We do nearly all originals. When we do a cover it is generally a Western Rock take on a Tom Waits or Bonnie Raitt tune. We never really wanted to be a wedding band so we try not to spend time on learning other people's music. The crowds at shows don't seem to mind, so I guess our originals are pretty good (I hope).

We haven't gotten out to SD yet. I've actually been working on recording for teh last year so we haven't played in a while, but we hope to make it down there sometime.
