Just had to wish y'all a special...
Hey abra, just ridin' through to say hi and wish y'all a great weekend!
Hi Bill! Sorry for the delay... I haven't been on the boards lately. Supposedly, Gold Circle goes on sale the same time as the rest but I've yet to see anyone actually purchase one that way. I mean... there very well could be someone that does, and just isn't a poster on the boards. Very very possible. However, I do believe that the vast majority of those tickets are selectively handed out through sponsors, and friends/family of the event production. After that, they might disperse down to friends of those friends, or sold somehow, but I truly do not believe it's feasible to get those tix via traditional ticketing (TM).
Personally, I gave up on Gold Circle last year and settled for Reserved. It was great. Of course I would have loved to be in the very front row, but for the price, etc. it just wasn't worth it to me. Having said that... if it's worth it to YOU, find the tickets thru whatever means necessary and just do it. I paid $1k for a front row ticket to Van Halen (my fav) last year and don't regret one red cent of it. It was an experience I'll never forget.
I wish you the best of luck, and if I can help any other way, just holler. = ) By the way... we have the same last name! Well, Field is my maiden name, but still very close to my heart. ; )
Ambra - it looks like you have been around stagecoach for awhile. Can you tell me if the Gold Circle Tickets started selling at the same time as the rest wheyher with a pre-purchase code or not? My wife and I are from Alaska and thre aren't any events like Stagecoach in Alaska. We attended in 2007 and were able to get Gold Circle Seats even though we paid through the nose for them. We really want to go in 2009 if we can get Gold Circle. We are affering to pay for the tickets, Provide 2 round trip tickets on Alaska Airlines and a finders fee. D you know anyone/anywhere they are being sold>
