several questions....I checked the website about the PBR, wondering if that info is updated for 2008, and does the festival ticket still provide access-admission to the PBR? Without a festival ticket, does anyone know what the admission fee is ?
also, I think I read about a convienence store on site, is that true? and they'll have ice? we sure don't want to go to Ralphs every day for ice. and there's no way i'll drink a warm margarita....or do we need the ice man to deliver...

pbr did not exist in 2007 so any info is cuurent to this year. figuring admittance is for festival attendee's only, so anyone else may need to buy a festival ticket to be able to partake in the event. not 100% sure on that, but it is my best guess.
also, the visitor section on the main site has all the info on the general store:
Will there be food booths or a general store in the camping area?
Yes there will be a store (all items are CASH ONLY).

so that store would ONLY be available to campers right? not all festival goers?

I'm really thinking of investing in one of those misters you can attach to the tent. Might be nice when kicking it during the day.

When my boys raced quads we got these cool Umbrellas with a bottle attached to the handle with a hose that went up to the top of the umbrella, and the mist flowed from up there. I gotta find those.
Awesome when they were on the line, fully geared up in 110 weather on a hot bike!!
Many people had those hand held bottles with little fans on them ran off a battery and it misted. They usually sell them at Fairs. Maybe Wallyworld will have them.

Now that I think about it, it wouldn't be worth it for me to buy one of those misters because there won't be a water hook-up in the Forum. Awww geeze.

This is from the FAQ's
Can I bring a water squirt gun or mister?
Sorry, these will not be allowed into the venue, though there might be some mister fans available for purchase onsite.

EEEEEEWWWWWWWW! Silly Kymery!
Thank goodness I didn't find one at Target today because it was on my list of purchases for Stagecoach. I would have hated if my confiscation would be a personal water mister.....hehehehe If I get into trouble it better be something a whole lot more ;)

Thanks, they were kinda like that, but portable, that one hooks up to a hose, mine had a water bottle attached, and you pump it so there is pressure for about 15 minutes of misting, then you repump.
So I stopped tonight and got me two pairs of flip flops (something I have never worn before), took the advice of get thick cusioney ones and of course some SPF 50 sunscreen.
I better be able to bring them both inside the event.

I hope you got the ones with cloth between the toes. The plastic cheapy's kill the toes. Although Crocs are wonderful
Adrian, OMG....what do you mean "cloth" between the toes. I've been practicing all day today and they are pretty comfy. They have plastic inbetween the toes????? I sure don't want to repeat last year cause my feet were messed up for a good month afterward.

The plastic ones are typically the ones from Old Navy that are $3. I have a cuuute pair of Roxy ones, but they're plastic too.
Some great ones are by J. Crew, Teva and Reefs that all have cloth straps and not plastic.
Trust me, plastic ones rub, even if you think they wont, especially in the heat!

I love Reef's, AVAR's,J.Crew's, and of course Crocs.
I live downtown Huntington Beach and am a river rat.... I have been through a lot of flip flops
The main thing is to clip of that stupid little plastic thingy that is on the part that goes between the toes... ouch that thing hurts!!! I can't understand how anyone can keep that on there...
