I know 2008 stagecoach hasn't even happened yet? But just wondering, who wasn't on the 2008 Line-up that you want to see on the 2009 one?
I personally want to see obviously George again, Alan, Reba, Keith Anderson, and Brad Paisley. What about you?
Kymery
04-10-2008, 02:11 PM
Jason Aldean would be nice again.
Mark Chesnutt, Clay Walker, James Otto, Tracy Lawrence...just to name a few

I very much like clay walker's "Chain of Love" song.

God Bless Chris Ledoux that he can't make it anymore.
God, would I give to see Gary Allan again
How about Keith Urban, wonder why he doesnt headline (oh yeah baby on the way)
Lonestar, Merle, Toby Keith, Travis Tritt

04-10-2008, 02:22 PM
I bet Keith will be there next year.
I would like to see Trick Pony, Brooks&Dunn and Sugarland again, Sammy Kershaw, Diamond Rio, Jo Dee Messina and Vince Gill-"When i call your name" God I love that song!
From what I hear about Coachella, they get different performers and try not to do repeats. I'm sure they will try to keep Stagecoach the same way.
Hank Williams Jr., Brad Paisley, Dolly Pardon, Vince Gill, Garth Brooks, LeAnn Rimes.

I think the Osmond Brothers play country in Branson?

Sorta like what the judds are doing? Absolutely! She is so good! In case you havent learned by the people I like to see, I am also old time country!
Of course I was going to sign up for Stagecoach #2 since I went to #1 but the Judds are the act I want to see the most this year. My favorite song of their's is Grandpa. I'm definately an old school country girl.
Alabama would be GREAT. Oak Ridge Boys are my all time favorite. Wish they could make Eddie Rabbitt come back to life again and headline Stagecoach.

Let's see...Martina, Alan (over and over), Gary Allan, Vince Gill, Garth (don't think he'd do it), Brooks and Dunn, Jason Aldean, Jason Michael Carroll, Brad Paisley, Josh Turner, Bocephus, Toby, Montgomery Gentry, Terti Clark, Tracy Lawrence, Alison Krauss, Van Zant, Blake Shelton, Joe Nichols, Merle, Travis Tritt, Emmerson Drive, Kieth Anderson...just to name a few...

I didn't get to go last year so those that I wanted to see won't be there this year. Also, I think some of these wouldn't have been there both years. Of course there are others that I want to see again, but here are a few:
- Jason Aldean
- Tracy Lawrence
- Toby Keith
- Gary Allan
- Chris Cagle
- I have to put Chris LeDoux in here even though it is impossible

They better sing Grandpa or I am gonna be so upset. lol. I too love that song! How cool would it be if Eddie Rabbit did headline and then He and Tim could do the Suspicions song?!

I fully agree, they can at least do a tribute to him at one of the stages/tents. He deserves it.

THEY NEED REBA MCENTIRE!!!
Jason Aldean! The best part of 2007
Lady Antebellum
Miranda Lambert
Sugarland
Garth Brooks
Toby Keith
Keith Anderson (the NICEST guy)
I know repeats are frowned upon (by whom I don't exactly know)... but these are well deserved return acts (Jason, Miranda, Sugarland).
Sugarland did the CD signing last year. I waited in line and missed most of B&D only to be cut off RIGHT in front of me. Waaaah!

I just heard about that show this morning!!! Wed. is my birthday, so have dinner plans already with some friends.
They're great live tho!! Just saw them about a month ago - got to go to the Opry when my roomie and I were in Nashville. (The same show that Carrie performed and Randy Travis asked her to be the newest member! Was an AWESOME show!)
Are you going? You'll have to give a report!!! I wanna hear about it!

For the Lady Antebellum fans (from a bulletin they posted on MySpace)...set your Tivos/DVRs! :)
Lady Antebellum will be performing their hit single "Love Don't Live Here," from their self titled debut CD in stores April 15, on the Friday, April 18 Ellen DeGeneres show!
good to know! thank you!
cd is $6.99 on itunes tomorrow and the bonus track (woman scorned) is excellent!

I really wanted to see Toby Keith this year....maybe next year. Also, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Martina McBride would be good. I don't think they will repeat any artists for a few years.....Brooks & Dunn were the best last year. I like Allison Krauss also.
GeorgeStraitfan1
04-16-2008, 10:26 AM
To say who were the best last year would have to be, Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, Sugarland and George Strait. Others were great too, but those were the best in my eye.

Soooooo.....how was it? (Or is there another thread I haven't seen yet?) :)
Lady A show was fan-friggin-tastic as well!! TONS of people there since it got so much advertising on the radio. Good for them! They sounded great. I told them how much we'd LOVE to see them at Stagecoach... if not this year, then next.

I would love to see Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Brooks and Dunn, Martina McBride, JoDee Messina, Phil Vasser, Lonestar, Diamond Rio, Jason Aldean. Any of them would be fine by me. I missed Craig Morgan and was very bummed, but I couldn't leave Fogleberg. I wasn't even interested in seeing him , but he rocked the place. Trace Adkins was awesome. I was extremely disappointed by the one I most wanted to see, Tim McGraw. What a let down. When he walked off the stage the first time, i couldn't believe it. He looked gased. Tricia Yearwood was excellent too!

I have seen Toby Keith twice in the last 2 years, and i still want to see him again he is that good. I have also seen Brad Piasley he is good i wouldn't mind seeing him there. But if i had my choice of who to bring back it would be Craig Morgan.
brad rocks in concert. he'd be fantastic at stagecoach!

There aren't many "new country" acts I'd be stoked about seeing, but Jayme Johnson is a pretty great writer and I'd like to see him.
Willie or Kris coming back would be great.
Krauss/Plant together would be legendary.
I'd love to see Loretta Lynn with Jack White.
More than anything, I think the show needs an appearance by Willie Cash and the Cashiers if you really want to get things started out there!

Michelle Branch was a late sign in at the last one. I hope she is back. Her brother inlaw was with her on stage. Mike Landau. He is the guitarist on the new Sugarland cd. I hope he is with her again.

dont know about michelle b. but the more i think about it, I think that they will add more artists. It does seem really small for 3 stages for all day??
could this be attributed to the "full sets" factor? i'm good with that!

I saw him at Morongo Casino .He did a private concert and was not only great but very sweet....:D

Schradog.....LOL I'm sorry not funny bout judds and I do love their music - awesome voice Wynnona has.........but my friends actually took naps during their show - not during Dwight's though!!! And yes a wee bit tooooooo much talking - liven uppppp the crowd before Rascal Flatts -although I must say I sooooooooooooooooooooooooo enjoyed Rascal Flatts and can't even believe the LA Times gave them a dig - LA Times know's country????????? LOL
Are you kidding me, The Judds were awesome, how often will you have the chance to ever see the Judds again! I thought it was great. And Rascal Flatts, I had to leave half way through their show due to a terrible show. The guitarist must have talked on stage for about a half hour before any music even started... Ugh... what a letdown!

Exactly. Kenny was good before he went Jamaican style. He definitely had me as a fan. "She thinks my tractor's sexy" "Big Star" etc. Now its just beach. If thats his lifestyle, that's cool. But please don't bring it to us.:o

You may be right.I just got a bad vibe from how they would not come on stage till everthing was perfect. Then had there own security watching all the photographers so no one could shoot photos till after there first song..Only the eagles were that bad.Once you get that bad taste in your mouth from how others are treated....
Then the rest of the show seems kinda flat...
