Can I drive my car up with me to the tent spot? At other campsites, you are able to drive the car up and have the car next to the tent, is that possible here??

Good question,

I remember last year seeing people with wagons lugging there stuff to the tent area. I know one of them told me they had a long walk from the car. So if the same as last year, no. BUT, last year it was in a different spot that cars could not get to.

I would think that a tent city would not have the isles to allow cars, thus the purpose of the tent only area.

1. Get a cooler on wheels or bring a wagon
2. Use backpacks for suitcases.
3. Buy one of those construction hats that hold two cold beers with hoses to drink while you hike there.

cars in the tent area just wouldn't be safe, too many people coming and leaving at the same time.

Yeah, did you hear about the girl who got ran over in her tent at Coachella last year? ickkkk!!! Be happy there are no cars! Would suck to have someone warming up their car and the exaust going right into your tent.

from what i recall they weren't in a tent, just in sleeping bags that weren't located in an assigned camping spot. only one to blame is her if that's true.

They were sleeping in a road, not onsite camping.

Kymery is correct. And has some excellent suggestions. (wish I had used # 3 last year!!) Last year they let us park temporarily closer to the campgrounds to unload then move the cars to the lot when we were done. But people were taking their sweet time so don't count on it this year. If you set your tent up first thing, your territory is marked, then take time lugging in the rest. Just my $.02.:D
