Question regarding tent space-Still a rookie

I have a question regarding the Q & A below:
If I am TENT camping, what size tent can we bring/how much space do we get?
If you are not sharing a tent with anyone else, it may be as large as 8' x 8' (aprox. 64 square feet). If you are sharing a tent with other onsite campers your tent may take up an additional 8' x 8' (64 square feet) of space per person.

MY QUESTION: There will be three of us with two tents but one of us can't show up until Thursday.......Can the two of us that show up, put up the tent for the OTHER person before she gets there? Sounds dumb huh?

I would think so. But you may want to put something in each of the 3 8x8's so that no takes the space.

Only if you paid for two spots...but they did say that each space had to hold a tent.

But..food for thought. I bet a million you neighbor and you could work it out, there is only an invisible line.

Last year, you could not tell there were 8x8's, You will get an ez up ok. IF they allow them, Better Stake them down!

Last year, each person got an 8x8 space. So we could do whatever we wanted with it. So we took a few more just in case haha... Hopefully this year is the same

I plan on putting up two tents just to have the space and use one for all the gear. Leave lots of room for the main tent. =o)

ha ha...speaking of "kids"... I'm trying to figure out how to load up an RV with cases of beer, margarita mix, pocket shots, tequila shooters, and whatever else I can find, without my actual living kids (offspring) from seeing all of it. They must think I'm going to woodstock or burning man festival. I think they have visions of mom running through camp naked or something.. I'm not going to do that......am I?

Since this is the tent space question thread, I have a real question....

If there are 5 of us, and we each get an 8X8 space, does that mean they just give us 5 8X8s in a row? Or is it just a much larger area? We have a tent that is larger than 8X8 so I'm just curious as to how it all gets set up.

they usually block 4 8x8s together in a square. have to keep fire lanes between patches of tents, etc. if your tent would fit in that patch all of you could stay in it, and use that whole patch

The windows are tinted on the Jeep. Gunna be hard to show. Ill just write it in white
