I ordered 2 VIP tickets and was wondering if any one got their tickets yet? Last year I never got mine and had to do "will call" at the last moment and I sure don't want to go through that stress again.

read the fine print:
"A package containing your ticket, wristband and souvenir ticket holder will be delivered via Fed Ex approx. 3-4 weeks prior to the event."
now look at a calendar.

Yeah, it said that last year, and look what happened!! No delivery!
It's not just about the tickets. It's taking vacations days off of work and the expense of the hotel. It just a breather knowing you have tickets in hand and are all set to go.
Last year Ticket Master called me 3 days prior to the event to tell me they were cancelling my order and I FREAKED OUT. I started calling Ticket Master to find out where my tickets were a couple of weeks before the event and after I saw on the board here that everyone had started getting theirs. Those tickets had been paid for months and months in advance plus all of my other plans. Thank goodness it all worked out in the end but I sure don't want to go through that again. I was driving to Indio thinking I'm not going to be able to get in to the concert. Because my tickets were will call I had to wait outside the front gate (about an hour) for my friend to show up so I could give him his ticket and wrist band since there were no in's or out's. This year I want to send him his package and not have to hassle it all at the last minute.
This is a very fun and relaxing event so I want it to start out that way if possible.

I do not have my tickets yet but was told by ticket master employee, that the tickets will be mailed out in April. Tomorrow is April Fool's day.

I spoke with Ticketmaster last Friday, they told me the tickets were going to be shipped within the next two weeks.

GPS ~ How do your Friday night seat assignments compare to your two-day pass?
My Section 2 Row 2 seats turned into Section 7 Row 10 (isn't that the wheelchair row?).
That doesn't look good for the rest of us for Friday night tickets. I'm in section 7 now so does that mean I'll be in GA?

Rumor has it...that some people that had reserved seating for Sat and Sun and paid the $195 for the upgrade (the website said not to worry about the GA bit you would guarenteed a seat the same if possible) are not getting seats and have not had the difference refunded. Just curious if anyone else has had this happen or is someone just causing a panic for no reason. I have not received mine yet so can't confirm.
Oh, I sure do hope this is just a rumor. I won't be able to help answer the question until I get my tickets.

GPS - question for you...How did you find out about which section and seat assignment for friday night ahead of getting your tickets??? Hopefully this is not a dumb question. When I ordered through ticketmaster on-line (upgrade to friday) there was no information on section or seat.
P.S. Thanks...My favorite flowers are roses and I was born in June

It shows in my "order history" on the original 2-day reserved ticket. The upgrade just shows GA. Log in to Ticketmaster & view your order history.
GPS - thanks for all the information and being so helpful.
I just checked my ticketmaster history and the in the details it states GA3 seats 26 & 27. What does GA3 mean? My original order has me with seat number 15 & 16 so I'm assuming at this point that I will not be in the same seat for all three days.
I sure don't hope that GA3 means that my seats are located in General Admission 3 which is the back parking lot for an extra $195.00 each ticket. :mad:

Look at the original order details - they have changed & added Friday.
GPS - I did EXACTLY what you said and when I went back to a copy of my original receipt of my order there was a link at the bottom to view the details and sure enough you are correct and it has been updated to add Friday's information.
I guess I just won the lottery because if it's true I'm in the same section and seats for all 3 days!!!! YIPPPEEEEEEE

Well who ever you heard that from was telling no lies. I got my tix and im in reserved sec 2 row 7 and got bumped all the way to GA1...thats GENERAL ADMINISSION ROW 1, they gave me a reserved seat in the grass,talk about a bunch of BS. If we had all known that we would be bumped clear down in the grass, no body would have bit on those upgrades. I paid $195 per seat when I could have paid a day rate of $65. Someone had better refund me the difference or there will be HELL to pay. Im not the only one either. Shame on Golden Voice!!!!! This Friday add on was a bunch of crap and all of us who purchased our two day reserved passes, well most of us any way, got royally screwed. I am pissed off!!! I know all about the promises that Ticket Master made, I read all the crap before I purchased so I know I was taking a big chance, but come on, sticking me with GA1, from Section 2, CRAP, CRAP, CRAP.

Did you get your tickets yet and that's what they say???
When I looked through Friday's upgrade receipt is when it said GA3...but when I followed GPS instructions and looked through my original Ticket Master receipt for Saturday & Sunday's order is when I discovered the correct Friday upgrade information.

I got mine today and happy to say that I did get my same seats for all three days. However I am a little bummed that my camping has been moved from El Dorado II to Forum. I specifically got that site because people said A) funner crowd B) no noise curfew C) lot more partying. I knew it was further away then the others but figured the experience would be worth it. Minor isssue but seems to go with the general theme of not getting things right.
Last year was a blast even with all of the hiccups. This years lineup isnt as exciting but still solid so I am sure it will be as fun. Let's hope they dont jack the beer prices up higher than last year....or we will be bitching about that more than anything else. I think I spent more on food and beer last year than I did on the tickets...and I had seats.

Hate to burst your bubble... but...
You may want to re-check that change to the Forum, that is the TENT area...so unless you have a tent and no rig, you will be fine. ED I is the cerfew area, EDII is the camping later cerfew and the Forum is for the tents.

Hey Kymery...thanks for the info. Just tent camping.....I got camp passes last year and when we pulled up early and they said no grills and gave us hell about the beer...we went to stay in Palm Springs (after the casino of course).
I was just going also going by the site and the info the posted "El Dorado 2 is a more cost effective campground geared towards people that may like to celebrate a bit later than others. Although we have an enforced curfew in other sites, this area is recommended for those younger that can be active and louder after the show. " Although I am not younger....and not loud...I do like to party some after the concert and did not want to disturb others that dont.
Anyway...thanks for the info again and I am sure it wont be an issue.

WHAT...why did they give you crap about the BBQ's? They announced on the radio that Thurs am as we were driving into Indio, by the promoter himself that they were allowed, so we always had ours in our rig of course so pulled over and picked up steaks and shrimp.
As we were eating with our new found neighbors the promoter even sat down with us at dinner, BBQ, Wine and Beer all on the table! That makes no sense..sorry you were told otherwise.
This is what I mean about the rules, everyone keeps saying to read them, but they change. We hid out beer, but once we parked we noticed everyone had theirs out and tippin back at 11am Thursday morn!!
So, do you plan on Tent camping? If you are, and want to still party, you can go into any of the camping areas and hang out with anyone in there, then head back to your tent. Just an option. I am not younger, but can party with the best of em! Come find us...we will be partying!

We were told specifically by the "Event Staff" that there were to be no outdoor grills including gas grills and that also people would be cited for drinking and we were to do it at our own risk. I said that is BS and the reply was "I agree but I dont make the rules. They want you to spend your money inside instead of filling up on food and beer before going in" We turned around and stayed at the house in PS instead. The other option (at that point) was to drink a Jack and Coke..hold the Jack and stare at the Brats. I heard after the fact that the relaxed the rules. I posted another asking about the beer and BBQ rules since the rules posted state neither is allowed.
And hell yeah I am camping...I wish I did it last year. I went to one of these in Texas and camped and that was alot of fun...I am not sure what was funner...the concert or the partying. Got my tickets late but I am in Sect 20 Row 4

Well, here is a suggestion to everyone!!!
Listen to 106.1 Kplm as you drive in. They had all the 411, from traffic, street closures etc.
That is where the promotor was telling us at about 9am that we could have BBQ's. Come one, who is gonna go in your rig anyway and check under every bed, closet, locked storage for your booze? We even have a safe in ours, gotta hide it and then you can drink all you want IN your Rig. But I promise you it was EVERYWHERE.
Put it this way, at Coachella, they would not even let people out of the drinking area during the concert, but at Stagecoach we could leave and be double fisted and go anywhere we wanted with our drinks. Rules change by the minute I noticed. One day I could bring in bottled water, unopened, then the next day some others couldnt.
It is the employees who are not educated in what the rules are from their supervisors. When the rules changed on the BBQ, they should of gotten that message out to every person at the gates!!
We even had our beers, tried to go to the food vendors in the campgrounds, which was in the gates of the polo bar, and they told us to just sit them down next to the them (the gate watchers) and I could pick it back up on my way out to my rig after I go by my food. Also if you bought at drink at the polo bar, you could not take it back to your rig. So apparently some employees knew there jobs and others didn't.

Just got my tickets and camping passes. Question though, I bought an ED2 pass, because I needed a place to camp. I have since been able to purchase an ED1 pass so I am looking to rid myself of the ED2 pass.
My question is, my name is on the window decal:eek: , is that going to matter if someone buys this from me? and/or is the other persons name going to be on the ED1 pass and will THAT matter?
Other than that, I'm excited and looking forward to the trip!:cool:

UPS and USPS are completely different animals. My Ticketmaster said the same thing that they are printed and are sent USPS and it is just a disclaimer telling the purchaser that the tickets will arrive prior to 48 hours before the event, and to contact them if they don't arrive by then. Also my seats were split in sec 5 and sec 7 but it looks like the Friday upgrade they put the two next to each other in sec 5 which is way cool. We're close, lets get ready to PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After my last post I went out golfing and came back and my tickets were at my doorstep (which is scary since anyone could have taken them) but my seat are the same for one ticket for friday sec 5 row 9 and the cool thing was that the other ticket in sec 7 row 4, they gave the upgrade for this second seat right next to my first seat for friday. Which is way cool!!!

I just received my Fed Ex package with my tickets, wrist bands and Ticket Pouches!!! Of course the Fed Ex guy shows up just as I'm getting out of the shower but at least he showed up. I was lucky enough to get all three days in the same seats. I'm all excited now YIPPEEEEE and stress free.

wow that sucks...but with everyones misfortune why couldnt they move me closer LOL. I am wondering who ended up with the seats that others already had. If you purchased your upgrade before the deadline I would think it would have been easier for them to keep everyone in their original seats.
The Eagles really messed with just too many people by demanding the first 20 rows for "their fans". I'm really sorry that you are so affected by this sterrettmark and it's just not right. You should be mad. The right way to do this would have allowed all of us to either add Friday or not and the ones who did not then those Eagle fans could sign up for $795.00 a ticket and put them in those empty seats.
A question I'm going to throw out there...I wonder how many empty seats we will see on Friday in the first 20 rows because the Eagle fans can't afford $795.00 per ticket in this recession? I'm just saying

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe GoldenVoice will offer them as 1 day Gold Circle seats at a more reasonable price-say $300. That would be about the only option left at this late date. That's my 2 cents for what it's worth.

I was just reading what it said on TM. I too did not quite understand what they meant so I called on Friday (4/4). TM said they issue the tickets to Goldenvoice who from there send them to the purchaser. She had told me the "something" happened on 4/1 with my order. She could not tell me if they sent the tickets to Goldenvoice or if that was the date Goldenvoice sent them to me. Come to find out, Saturday (4/5), there they were on my front porch left by Fed Ex. We got all of our tickets and camping passes for everything. They are the seat indicated by TM that we originally purchased. All is good on this side of town and C Ya at Stagecoach!!!!!!

i also wonder how many of those tickets are now at some ticket broker going for a grand or more...i think it is BS because all it did was hurt the people that made it successful last year....i doubt there will be any empty seats since the eagles tpically sell well....I llke em but now 795 dollars a seat like em.

I think it is a couple factors regarding what you think is worrying.
Last year it was hell getting many of our tickets, had to will call etc. I can't imagine the stress of driving out to Indio in HOPES that your tickets are really there along with your camping passes.
Then dealing with TM...well I am sure you know that issue, they can't be trusted for the most part
Then you have the excitement, you spend a hunk of your wallet and just want to see the tickets in hand.
Finally, it is just the plain discussion, if you have them or not...it is actually fun for some people to chat about it, then brag when they get them. I dont have mine yet, buying from a 2nd party so waiting on him to get them in, then to me, that is even more nerve racking.
I was excited when I got my camping passes...just human nature. I wish TM would of let you print them like you could for other concerts, but I will say that I was dissapointed at the crew that checked us into the campgrounds last year, I was able to print my tickets last year for the camping part and they just took my printed peice of paper and put it in a file, no bar code was scanned, I thought, hell, I could of printed out a few of those and handed them out, how the heck do they know they were not real? Just sayin......

Oh, and one more reason to worry, with all the changes adding Friday and the tickets not being clear where you are being moved to on Friday, well having them in hand would clarify all that.

Eagles - first 20 rows x 40 = 800 seats @ 795.00 each = $636,000.00
that should hook them up for deluxe depends down the road.

I did getmy tickets, but have a questions if anyone knows. I bought 4 VIP tickets section 2. I did get tickets, lanyard, but NO VIP wrist band for the VIP tent area, why is that?

From what I understand, only Golden circle people got the VIP tent wristbands, which is beside the stage. You will have access to the other VIP area, which is the tented area to the left of the Mane stage.
VIP should have VIP wristbands. We don't get a tent

Right, and that is what GC gets, not regular VIP. We found out the hard way last year. But there is also a shaded area to the left of and in front of the stage, where there are booze and food vendors. Just an friendly FYI for next year or anyone who has not bought their tickets yet. I bought my GA Tickets last year and this year both thru TM. I choose the TicketFast delivery option(only $2.50). I just purchased my concert tickets this AM and have printed them out already. NO worring or waiting in a will call line.
Last year I stayed in a hotel and decided that I had to experience the camping this year (since I love camping anyway). I did purchase my ED-1 and camping passes early. I received my decal and camping passes last month via Fedex.
I can not wait for the huge tailgate party. My girlfriends and I will be the RV with the redneck golf game going on, if you happen to walk by you are welcome to challege us.
Ticket fast won't work for VIP or Gold Circle unless your Cooter or GPS who can print out their own wrist bands and Lanyards :cool:

Last year I did print my tickets. But it made me mad that when I pulled into the RV they just took my 8 1/2 x 11 paper with my so called camping ticket on it and just filed it, no checking if it was real!!
I gues they got wise this year, that is not an option to print and you have to have that huge window decal this year.
Man I could of made some bucks last year selling copies of my tickets...but, hey, would IIIII do thaaaat?:o

That's what I was told by Ticketmaster and sure enuf...everything was sent by Goldenvoice. My sister even placed 1 order for tickets and camping in November 07 and order for tickets and camping January 08. Both order's came in the same package on Saturday April 5th. All the tickets, wristbands, lanyards and all the camping passes. I got mine on the same day. All the tickets were the seats assigned when we ordered them.

ANYONE....... Why did our VIP package NOT come with Wristbands??????? HOw do we get the Wrist Bands??? Did anyone else have this probelm?
I would PM Countrygurl or Stagecoach. You gotta wear those stupid wrist bands for all 3 days. It brings a whole new meaning to taking a shower and trying to sleep.
P.S. This is not a ticketmaster issue. So don't waste your time with them.

Fed Ex says that I shouldnt worry, cuz they are not overnight sent, but express saver, and are not due to be to me until Tuesday by 7pm, so if they wanna fly my tickets all over the effin continent, then so be it, just be here by 7 on Tuesday or I am walking into their facility in Ontario and rasin' hell!!

well, the obvious thing to do is not put the bracelet on so tight, just put it on loose so you can slide it off when you want to. pretty obvious way to solve your issue...this isn't rocket surgery.
I stayed at Sam's Family Spa last year and they made us wear a wrist band to enter the jaccuzi/pool area (that they put on tight) for the 3 days too. I was wrist band girl and it was horrible.

I get so tired of calling a place, more specifically FED EXP and each time I call I get a different answer. So, even though my tracking shows my package went BACK to Tennesse, it really didnt, he said that is an "out of sequense scan" and that it really is here in Ontairo and will be delivered tomarrow. I still dont know if I trust that answer.

Ok, I guess the complaint Gods got tired of me. As I am on an important phone call (I work from home) the dog begins barking, doorbell rings, then he knocks, my client must of thought I was strange.
The Fed Exp wanted MY signature, not my sons, do I had to put my client on hold (he can wait!!!)

I would take a pic, but cant find my camera of course. Guess I better find that before the weekend!
