My husband and I won't be able to get there Friday until the evening due to work and kids, but we only live a little over an hour from Indio. Last year we came in on Friday night and it was a two hour process just to get to our RV area. I realize by having entertainment on Friday it may not be as bad this year, but we are thinking about pulling our 5th wheel down on Wed. night, getting a good spot in EL Dorado 1 and leaving it, with out the truck. Then coming back in on Friday with the truck. Do you see any problems with this???

I would say, as long as it can be locked and you have no valubles, you should be good to go. If it were my rig, I would do it, then all you have to do on Friday is roll up, and crack open a cold one!!!:D
The Stagecoach crowd was a well behaved crowd in general......good people.:D

NO problem!! I would trust it also. We left our rig many times during the shows and events and no problem. Everyone there is very respectful.

Maybe you can hook up with someone on here that will be there and can check out your rig while you are gone. We will be there Weds eve but in EDII, and cant guarantee I will be in the state of mind to watch yours, let alone mine.:D

I felt the same way about last years Stagecoach people. My husband and I were amazed at how melow everyone was especially given the amount of alcohol that was consumed! I wasn't so worried about the trailer - more about the staff not letting us and our truck back to our trailer on Friday!!! We had an issue last year with that. We unhooked from our trailer on Sunday morning and ran to the store. When we came back they tried to tell us we could not re-enter the RV lot with our truck. They wanted us to leave it in parking! But the truck and trailer were parked in our spot up to that point? My husband had to do some sweet talkin to get back in. I am hoping since we are coming back Friday night it will be ok?

Yeah, they wanted us to move our truck to the parking area and I had to also work the guys to let me jacknife it to the trailer, which made a nice enclosed area for us. I guess the 37' 5th wheel and a long bed, crew cab was too much for them. I explained my back, so they let it go. There were soooooooo many vehicles in there, I dont know how they decide who gets to keep them in there and who doesnt.

Thank GOSH we had ours there! Our batteries in the rig died one day and had to plug the rig back into the truck @2am to get the generator started again...re-occuring problem with us, so I refuse to let my truck leave my rig!!!

The Rv/Camping packet is pretty thorough this year so I hopes it's an indication as to the level of organization they will have the day of arrival.

Last year was the 1st year and they were just overwhelmed :)

It indicates that if you have an Electric pass you must show it at the gate so they can direct you to the Elecric area.

If you have a Tow vehicle pass, this too must be presented at the gate so they can direct you to the correct area.

Actually these are Large Decals to be placed on the Windows of the Rv and Tow vehicles.

Anyhoo- I assume that this means they have designated areas for Rvs with Tow vehicles.

I don't have a "Tow Vehicle" but I did buy the "Tow Vehicle" pass- due to what SC calls a Tow vehicle:D Hope I get more space:p

Ha! Kymery you must be related ...that is what we have too 37-foot 5th wheel and a long bed crew cab. We have 3 kids so we need the room. We turned our truck a bit to fit too. Also, we got a site next to a really small gut - somehow it felt like more room. I haven't gotten my RV packet yet so maybe I will feel better when it comes?
