George Strait Tickets

Hi all ~

I have 2 tickets to the George Strait concert on March 29th for sale. The show is at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA. Unfortunately we will not be able to make it.

The seats are floor tickets (I don't have the exact loction off hand) and are $75 each. Little Big Town and Sarah Johns are the opening acts and the concert starts at 7:30.

Oh great another Ticketmaster screw up.

I had floor seats, up front and center at the Home Depot Center, they cancelled, and are refunding our money (still have not see that yet), and then we got first rights to presale today with our "password", to get comperable seats. So I am on line at the bell, and they put us in the effin rafters!!!! NO WAY...I want me floor seats...I called TM and they said, oh well, that is what is left. HOW can that be, the Home Depot center still had Floor seats last week, not sold out at all, but it is sold out with our "presale" password for people who already purchased tickets.

Well, the upside...now I can put the $180 (oh and TM stole $5.35 per ticket that is non refundable-even though I did not cancell) towards my camping passed, and pray to win tickets to Stagecoach. I have seen George so many times, that it is OK...but WTF?

Well, the decision has been made. We refuse to sit in the effin rafters at the Honda Center, already saw GS there from nosebleed seats...never again!

Sooo...I put my hard earned money back in Ticketmasters butt and bought my camping passes last night. Dang, I cant win for loosing with TM!:mad:

I was lucky enough to get "just OK" seats at the Arrowhead Pond, but had way better floor seats at the Home Depot Center.

Ticketmaster presales never have good seats. I think that company is slimy as they come and every single time I buy tickets I feel I'm getting shafted.

Anyway, the Home Depot Center had way more floor seats in total. Instead of doing something intelligent, and breaking up the the tickets into true mappings between sections, Ticketmaster and the promoter simply took the easy way out and lumped everyone all together.

But, I can't complain because I get to see George Strait again (saw him at the Forum a long time ago). Strait and Brooks are just about the only artists I'll sit anywhere to see.

Glad to know we were not the only ones screwed by TM...same senario exactly..had floor seats and was offered nose bleed...no way!!!!

Well now Honda Center calls and offers us (for same price yet) seats in the 211 section, saying they are sorry this happened and that is all they have to offer.....How screwed is that?

Now I am gonna end up going cuz my friend thought i'd be "ok' with this and went ahead and took the tix and paid for them (UGH!)... I was gonna use the $$$ for stagecach instead also....

TM sucks! but at least I get to go to the concert in semi-decent seats.

I never got any offer and I was one of the first with Am Exp card tickets!!
My parents had to pay more for the 200 sections!! Oh well, at least I have seen him there, and many other places, so no loss.

My friend called and left messages for everyone after callin TM several times and getting the standard "Sorry that's how it is" bull crap!

Section 200 was still the same price we paid for floor tix originally...unfair in my opinion but at least we got something better than nosebleed section 400+

I got to see him last year at Stagecoach festival also so it's cool ...I guess!

I actually beat a scalper! Dropped a couple of emails to brokers with an offer on 1st row. One emailed me back and said call me! We were up there dancing for you all on the big screen! Then, we got in trouble... "no dancing".. said the 12 year old Honda Center security.
Now that's the first time that I've got in trouble for dancing... at least with MY OWN WIFE!:D
