Just checked ticket availability and noticed a paragraph regarding an additional Friday ticket at an additional charge and that I would be receiving an e-mail with a special code allowing me to purchase the tickets. Can you tell me more or where to obtain the info as I have not rec'd an e-mail..if it was sent to my work it may have come in as spam and I will never get it???
If sent to ed4trucks@att.net I should have rec'd the notice, or has the notice been sent as of this date 02/11/08???

I just heard on my local radio station that The Eagles and Trisha Yearwood have been added for a friday nite show... They said that more people will be added to line up as well.... They also said that the people who won tickets from their station will also be given the extra day... my question is, if you have already boughten your tickets do you have to purchase friday nite too.... We were already planning on coming friday around noonish to camp, and toyed with the idea of even coming down Thursday nite are we no longer going to be able to do that if we dont buy fridays ticket???

Countrygurl,
Does, "or single day reserved upgrades for $195, plus applicable fees" include Gold Circle?
If we have gold circle tickets for Saturday and Sunday can someone else buy our seats for Friday? Do we have different seats? or are we guaranteed the first right of refusal to purchase the additional day or the exclusive right to purchase those tickets and if we don't the seats are empty for Friday?
It was difficult to get the gold circle tickets and we would like to have our seats for all 3 days, but I am concerned if it is again first come first serve we won't be as lucky.
Thanks

I just checked ticketmaster and they aren't allowing 2-day passes to be purchased. What if you don't want the Friday night show? Are you forced to buy anyway?
KateT

Why do the people that have purchased tickets already get the option not to upgrade?

I'm not trying to argue :) I was just hoping to be able to spend that extra money inside the festival.

Personally, I see this as a dissappointment. I like the Eagles, but not for an extra hundred bucks. I know, I don't have to upgrade, but I was going to buy an additional ticket for a friend and now have NO CHOICE but to pay another $100 for the 3 day ticket. Trisha is good, but this is really just the Eagles. GV obviously knows what they are doing, but I'm sure there are a bunch who are not happy. Will be interested if this increases ticket sales or throws it in a tailspin. Now is $300 for the weekend per ticket, for GENERAL ADMISSION no guarantee spots.... that now is a little steep. I dunno

Yikes -- so Friday is not a "full day" like Sat & Sun? Yet reserved seat "upgrade" for Friday is the same as the Sat & Sun per day price? Am I understanding that correctly? $195 for Friday (plus whatever fees tacked on by TM); Sat & Sun were $393 plus about $45 in fees. If TM charges the same fees, then Friday could actually cost MORE than Sat/Sun? For a shorter performance?
Yeah, I know -- I don't HAVE to buy Friday -- just trying to make the decision, and it's not looking like a very good deal... anyone else arriving at different numbers?

I agree with the Friday "upgrade" price being really steep....it's $195 per ticket for reserved seats (not gold circle)?? Basically you're seeing a concert (opener, middle act and main act) for $195?? It doesn't make sense to me.....especially after getting ALL day Saturday/Sunday for about $195 per day. Maybe because of the Eagles, but we definitely won't be upgrading. I would think that between $100-$125 would have been more reasonable and may get more people to upgrade.
On another note, Countrygurl, the email that I received earlier today from Stagecoach said was a general email about the 3rd day added and it said I would receive a separate email for upgrading.

Also, why is gold circle upgrade the same price as reserved upgrade?? It seems like the reserved (non gold circle) are getting the raw end of the deal.

Just upgraded my tix. I am so happy my husband loves the eagles.
Went to The Eagles site the want $395 for 4Star and $795 for 5Star.
You get a few extras going thrrough them but I didn't.
But I really hope I get my same seats for Friday, no offense to anyone, but since I get to take the chairs home at the end on Sunday I would prefer for them to only have my cooddies.
More in a while gotta make dinner.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
