VIP Tickets

I am a little confused. Last year we bought VIP Tickets for the gated area on the side of the main stage. By looking at the seating chart, and the tickets for sale, I only see the reserved seating in front of the stage, and General addmission. Can somebody please help me with my confusion?

Actually a friend got them from the city of Indio for free because he works construction out there.
I wonder if they were not actually regular tickets for sale....Hmmmm.
I know that the tickets were still "Ticketmaster" tickets. They just said VIP on them.
I know we had a different color armband than everyone else in GP.

How large is the tented area around the main stage??? on 11-16 at 2:09pm, from behind the fence, and you can actually see me in the picture. I tried to re-post it but I cant figure out how.

those tickets you speak of were not sold to the general public.

So that means there is no way to get them?

The reserved seats come with VIP passes that get you into that side area.

There are no general admission tickets sold with vip passes.
