View Full Version : FIRE ANTS !!!
We were camped in ED1 and a couple of girls go allbit up on there feet by Fire Ants. We took care of the problem with a couple cans of Raid, but they returned the next day.
I was wondering if we were the only "Lucky Ones" to have them or if anyone else had trouble.

Wow! Never heard of that happening before. That really sucks!
One is still off work today from just a few bites. The little bastards did the old " Lets all climb on this persons foot and bite all at the same time". Looked nasty on Friday and Saturday even with loads of Benidril (sp) pills and spray.
Another thing for next years list.
Item #82 Fire Ant poison.

Yep... We got a swarm of them on Saturday for about an hour. (south 105) I used some chemicals that probably shouldnt be explained on this board. They never returned.

Car camping was clear... as far as I've heard? I think all of us were too busy drunk and playing dizzy bat to care.
