Indio shuttle?

It's our first time to SG. We're staying in Indio. Should we purchase shuttle passes? If so, which one should we purchase (I tried calling the hotline, but they're picking up). If not, what suggestion do you have for us for getting to and from SG? Thank in advance for all the help and we can't wait for SG! If everyone there is half as friendly and helpful as everyone on the forum, we'll be alright :D

Hi there is lots of on site festival parking which is free. The best shuttle line is probably Albertson's grocery store on Hwy 111 in Palm Desert though that is a few miles west of Indio. The other issue is they cannot offer on site parking, just drop off. People do park there but technically not allowed. (I worked at that shuttle site last year). If you decide its better to ride the shuttle in and not deal with parking at the festival, you have to purchase the pass at the shuttle stop with cash at this late date. Other shuttles are either farther away or (LQ resort) is for registered guests of the hotel only. Info can be found at valleymusictravel.com
