i'm new to this and need help

ok so sorry that i'm asking a question that i'm sure has been asked hundreds of times but i cant find what i wanna know on other threads...

1. should i drive up tonight or tomorrow morning?
2. do i have to pay to camp out my car, if so how?
3. what should i take?
4. any extra advice?

1. Well, I'm not driving up until tomorrow morning but if I had the option, I would leave today. Probably less traffic and another night to have fun :)
2. I believe all camping on site is sold out (I am not camping though) On the main page there are links for off site camping but I am not familiar with any of those facilities and wouldn't even know if they have space available.

Hi Cody, if the venue campgrounds are full and you are set on camping, you might consider Lake Cahuilla. It's not far from the Venue. You can use day parking during the day.

Once you are at the venue, you might find someone willing to let you share a spot.

And I have rented a 4 bedroom house close by, I can rent out a room to you if you prefer to go that route. Looking for 100 per night, ac, showers and a bed come in handy after a 100+ degree day....
