Did anyone get Gold Circle today? [Archive]

Nope, I didn't get Gold Circle either :( and I was on at exactly 10am. Maybe the other person who posted that GC wasn't included in the pre-sale was right. I guess I'll try tomorrow when the official ticket sales begin.

gold circle were sold during the presale. they are very limited though. good luck with the public onsale. :)

Does this mean that not all Gold Circle seats where available during the presale and there is actually hope at public sale time? If I recall last year all gold circle was gone before the public sale even started.

yes the remaining gold circle will go to public on sale as with more vip reserved.

I was on right at 10:00am and not a single set came up. Was anyone successful?

Nope...had 6 friends and myself try, none of us got tickets. We called some ticket brokers, they said they will have them on Monday. Too bad, guess we will have to pay double or settle for VIP. Seems to me that Goldenvoice should have thought this through better.

Reserved and gold circle reserved tickets won't be shipped out until about 4 weeks before the festival. It's impossible for anyone to have those before hand. I wonder what the heck the scalpers are talking about. :confused:

There are only 10 rows of gold circle seats in existence... and thousands and thousands of people wanting them and only a hand full of people post on this board so maybe whoever got some today doesn't post here?

yes more will go on sale to the public on friday.

4 weeks is better than will call. And with my failing memory, if they were sent out now, I would have no idea where I put the tix (you know, hide them in a secret place, then forget where that secret place is).

Yeah I just lucked out around 7:30 CST. Tried again just for kicks and got row 7 seat 1 , and row 9 seat 1. Don't know how, but I'm not gonna argue.

We tried for Gold Circle but ended up with reserve, which is fine with me. We got right behind the Gold Circle and without the food and beer, there's really not much difference. I'm happy, happy since last year we were on the lawn and had to get in line at the crack of dawn to get as close a possible. This year, no chairs to carry, no line to wait in.:p

I noticed that this year the Reserved Sections get to take home their seats/chairs :D Good job GoldenVoice! Last year, only Gold Circle got to take home their seats.

I got a ticket in section 4 row 9, right next to the Golden Circle. At least I get to save a $100. I only bought one ticket, hubby does not want to go. I'm coming alone, does anyone have any suggestions what I should do?

We are still looking too. The room rates this year are ridiculous, I think the hotels caught on to the popularity of Stagecoach. Renting an RV is expensive as well, so we were thinking about camping, mainly because after being in the hot sun for 6 or 7 hours I'd like to be able to go back to my tent and get showered and refreshed for the evening concert. But I'm still gonna check into some rooms in La Quinta.
